I think those in the NHL know Hakstol is a very good coach and was never really given a full chance in Philly due to Hextall's micromanaging, meddling, and spying and now is caught in a perfect storm where Quennville is available and Dave Scott(Comcast CEO who knows zero about hockey) wants a big name splash even though Quennville is a great coach but a terrible fit for Philly.

Hak is in his 4th season. Still coaching during the Monday noon hour in Philly as the 3rd longest tenured. 

HC's don't last long in Philly, but Hak has staying power   !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's gone now.  I'd like to see him back in some capacity.  Obviously that can't happen, but I sure would like it.

He might be moving back to Grand Forks to regroup, not that he has to be a coach anywhere?

Sure would think he has potential to coach somewhere/somehow in the NHL?
