If anyone told me at the beginning of last season we would get two regional wins and go to the frozen four I would have told them they were crazy , great first year and looking forward to many more.

You guys need a different thread , nothing about recuits being talked about.

So Mackenzie is Strathmann replacement , Boser is for Zmolek, Carels for Wiebe and Rudolph for Livanavage, not so hard to be a GM.

Funny how Denver does not use the portal much but yet they keep their players and keep winning, things that make you go hmmmmm. I

I think Bryn is right on track , we knew that the 2 Schultz’s and Simpson were coming at foward , McKenzie at D. So he was recruiting for one foward and two D. We shall see what the next couple of months bring.

All this talk about building classes and not using the portal went out the window when seven players jumped to the portal , seems a little strange to push recruits back if they thought we were going to lose players.

Three first rounders at D , let’s do this.

For being such a tight group it seems people want to play somewhere else. You would think Strathmann and Klee would get lots of playing time next year. So time to bring in 10-12 players again.

We don’t get to make those decisions , the coaching staff who sees these players every day gets to make those.

But how to you replicate getting outplayed and make one or two plays and get fantastic goaltending

You get outplayed badly in two games and still find a way to win , unbelievable

I think Strathmann, Laurila, Emery and Verhoff gorm a pretty good core and if the recruits pan out they should be solid.
