Wilbur Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Spring training is here. No injuries please...... Starting rotation to start year: 1. Berrios 2. Ode 3. Maeda 4. Homer 5. Dobnak Insert big Mike in a few weeks, then fingers crossed Rich Hill can return to form. Quote
Frozen4sioux Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Spring training is here, which means the annual declaration that the Twins have been officially eliminated from contention beyond the circle jerk central and a 1st round fisting by an east coast team. Probly looking at you NY... again. Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Another year and another chance. Let’s hope for a winning team and fun times following them during the year. looking forward to the UND night. Quote
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Another chance is right, they have done it twice! Quote
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 With Sprint Training cancelled, the Twins 60th season was supposed to start with earliest opening day in club history? Ouch. Quote
rochsioux Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 If I had to guess I would say we won’t see any start to baseball until May at the earliest. Probably will be later than that. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Why am I getting the sinking feeling that baseball is not going to happen this year? Quote

No. They cannot agree as to how they want to restart (owners/players). This is very disappointing. Everyone else has it figured out, why can't they? They should/could have been the first ones to come back.... it was right there for baseball but they failed. Quote
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 Pro Baseball's failure to play will not help fall college sports to start. Quote
Walsh Hall Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 Their failure has nothing to do with Covid. The relationship between the players and owners has always been horrible. Tough break for the Twins. Their window isn’t gonna be too big and they had a pretty solid team this year. Quote
Vegas_Sioux Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 You know man can’t live on 283000, that would be this year’s player minimum. Quote

According to my cousin, member of the sf giants Organization the union knows the owners have about 4 billion for salary this year. The owners association wants to to shave it to 1.2 billion the players are willing to go to 2.8.with minimum salaried players taking the biggest hit at 50 percent. Quote

Watching 30 for 30 “Long Gone Summer” and realizing how much I don’t give af about baseball. The MLB has built their grave multiple times now. I am not coming back. I know I am just one fan but I’d rather be active outside than sit on my ass for 3-4 hours in a stadium. With that said, I did enjoy people watching and seeing new stadiums but then the stadiums became overproduced/corporate ridiculous... NHL around the corner. That’s all I need. That’s all I ever needed. 3 Quote
