Nodak78
UND has much upside in this poll. I wonder if we could get some takers on placing higher than 9th place?

Nodak78
what are the odds that awarri ends up putting up big numbers at running back this year? BigSky freshman of the year would not surprise me.
CMSioux
This helps create interest for the season but I don't see us finishing #9. I doubt coaches have time top put any real thought into this and most of the writers have no clue - there is still a Big Sky bias involved here as evidenced by the pre-season all conference selections. Plus strength of opponents in an unbalanced scheduled makes a huge difference as we have seen in the past. I see us closer to #6 or #5 - (one step at a time)
homer
The Billings Gazette is ranking he top 100 players in the league. The paper does a good job at finding different ways to bring attention to the players in the league. http://m.billingsgazette.com/sports/college/big-sky-conference/best-of-the-big-sky-ranking-the-top-players-in/article_4d1d67e6-14a4-51ec-92be-4e7e646fc329.html?mobile_touch=true

dmksioux
Looks like he initially had commited to Auburn, but when Gene Chizik was fired, he reopened his commitment and ended up at MSU. MSU also tried him out at Safety. http://www.forwhomthecowbelltolls.com/2013/2/6/3961340/national-signing-day-2013-jahmere-irvin-sills-commits-to-msu-will
Teeder11
Well, let's hope it sticks and he's good at football. Sills played in last year's Capital One Orange Bowl against Georgia Tech and had two solo tackles on kick off coverage.
Hambone
RB or DB? He started his career as a RB but was switched to CB last year. My understanding is that he would come in as a CB.

Dagger
Can he play right away? How many years of eligibility does he have? Is there more to the story? Why is he coming here. What is the connection?
Teeder11
Can he play right away? How many years of eligibility does he have? Is there more to the story? Why is he coming here. What is the connection? FBS dropdown ... should be able to play right away if grades are there. Three years of eligibility left. Don't know the connection or reason coming here. He is a kinesiology major, or was at one time...UND has a great kinesiolology program, but I doubt that is what drew him here. Who knows? Cross your fingers and hope for the best.

homer
Tom Miller takes a look at the offense: http://millersports.areavoices.com/2015/07/23/offensive-depth-chart-thoughts/ Good write up by Miller. OL is still such a question mark for this season. LT is a very important position and either of our top two options there right now have not taken snaps at the spot or have very limited snaps there.
