UND1983 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 18K in a stadium that seats 19K seems a little easier to explain than 5K in a stadium that seats 13K. Not when there was only 7k there. I didn't say that UND under cut the number by 6,000 and it was a sellout. They would shave 1-2,000 or so off the number to keep the difference.
JohnboyND7 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Why would that be surprising. Tie game at the half. Dumb to leave early. If anybody did they deserved to be slapped. Because often times students leave. Halftime is a long time. People want to go eat or drink or watch other games. No one deserves to be slapped for using their ticket the way they see fit.
nosidel Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 5K or 7K. makes no difference both are pathetic. Not when there was only 7k there. I didn't say that UND under cut the number by 6,000 and it was a sellout. They would shave 1-2,000 or so off the number to keep the difference.
UND1983 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 5K or 7K. makes no difference both are pathetic. How did NDSUs first home playoff game in 15+ years go vs RMU?
sioux rube Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Because often times students leave. Halftime is a long time. People want to go eat or drink or watch other games. No one deserves to be slapped for using their ticket the way they see fit. In my book they do.
nosidel Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 It didn't go well. Still, it was twice the most optimistic numbers you're talking about. How did NDSUs first home playoff game in 15+ years go vs RMU?
choyt3 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Great. 6 consecutive posts from bison "fans". It's like they are so giddy that they have nowhere to go to discuss the big win yesterday. 1

SiouxVolley Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 What are the games this week? No FCS news at all where I'm at.
senor_sieve Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 What are the games this week? No FCS news at all where I'm at. that's gotta be a piss poor attempt to bad mouth FCS football. for a guy that can comb through online articles to come up with double top secret conspiracy theories, I have to imagine you can use your google-fu to look up college football schedules.
Siouxphan27 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Are next weekends' games on espn 3 again?
sioux rube Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Are next weekends' games on espn 3 again? Bison game is on the main ESPN channel at 11am.
nosidel Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 It undoubtedly took him as much time to type that post as it would have to do a google search and have the answer he supposedly wanted. that's gotta be a piss poor attempt to bad mouth FCS football. for a guy that can comb through online articles to come up with double top secret conspiracy theories, I have to imagine you can use your google-fu to look up college football schedules.
The Sicatoka Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 When SDSU was down 20-17 but moving the ball late I said to the folks I was with that it was the perfect scenario: run Zenner, run the ball, score late. Then the pass interference happened and SDSU moved from the 27 to the 3 way too fast. When SDSU scored and left NDSU more than 3 minutes I knew it was a problem for SDSU. And I was right. Now? I see a clear path to Frisco for NDSU (as I said before here).
The Sicatoka Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Bison game is on the main ESPN channel at 11am. Yup. This is the first weekend w/o FBS so the FCS playoffs go to ESPN.
The Sicatoka Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 The quarterfinals games and locations: No. 1 New Hampshire vs. No. 8 Chattanooga -- Cowell Stadium (Durham, NH) No. 4 Eastern Washington vs. No. 5 Illinois State -- Roos Field (Cheney, WA) No. 2 North Dakota State vs. No. 7 Coastal Carolina -- Fargodome (Fargo, ND) No. 6 Villanova vs. Sam Houston State -- Villanova Stadium (Villanova, PA)

Hambone Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Pretty interesting game going on right now.
bincitysioux Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Coastal is moving the ball well, but had to settle for FGs twice after getting inside the FU 5 yard line. They can't really stop the Bison though. Entertaining first half.
jdub27 Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Coastal came to play this year. 24-20 NDSU at the half. One punt by each team and no turnovers. Defense optional I guess....
BigGreyAnt41 Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 NDSU getting a bit of home cooking on the officiating, it seems. You can't call pass interference if it's not a catchable ball to begin with. 2
Sampson Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 NDSU getting a bit of home cooking on the officiating, it seems. You can't call pass interference if it's not a catchable ball to begin with. They should have called holding which is what it was. That would have stood regardless.
Cratter Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 You take out NDSU and I'm wondering if the FCS quarterfinals are averaging about 3,000 a game. Sam Houston vs Villanova looks like a High School game.
gfhockey Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 The reversal of the complete catch was bs too How do they always get the good refs
