Fargo has lot of options, no question, but what really sticks out?

Bluemoose spin dip is a staple and no question parrots cay for wings.

Now that Grand Forks has Vinyl Taco etc. I can’t think of an amazing spot in Fargo. Porter Creek is very good, I like Franks for their wings too. But best burger in Fargo is still JL Beers or Sickies imo and GF has both.

*Taco trompos is amazing for authentic Mexican on 45th I might add

Really wish Fargo had Popolinos pizza. Fargo’s non franchise pizza game is brutal.

Love to her food/go to items that people prefer in Fargo? I’ve been to them (restaurants) all.

Würst, India Palace,  Boiler Room, Mangos,  and of course, Chipotle.

Wurst is solid. Forgot that honorable mention. Boiler Room is too.

Chiptole is played out and their quality is slipping. Actually prefer Pancheros.

Theres also a bbq place downtown that i like.. No Bull smokehouse?

India palace owner, literally nicest person ive met in years.  Chicken vindaloo w/ garlic naan.

Chipotle aint played out. It's great. Pancheros make their tortillas fresh, and that's the only positive thing I can say about them.

Haven't been to a Dave and Busters in years, but wondered why a themed place like that couldn't take off in Fargo? Be more of a destination and something to do/go to in the winter months.

Never worked in the food industry. Thoughts?

D&Bs food is atrocious. So I dont know how it would do. They would need a ton of middle aged gamers .

Know it’s not food normally associated with sports, but anyone have an opinion of Ely’s Ivy in the old Sanders building?

will be closed soon...place sits 100 for a place that maybe gets 30 on a rush.

I was there not long after their opening and was not pleased with the service - about 10 customers being ignored while two bartenders and a waitress huddled together to chat.  Hopefully things have improved since them.

if you put ely's ivy in the old sanders building (rhombus pizza) without the second floor and rooftop they would do just fine tho....their current spot is just too big and it looks bad when you have 10 people in a restaurant that sits 100 or more.

Mediocre food and terrible service. I've given them "one last chance" probably three times and they always disappoint. I want them to succeed so bad because GF needs as many local restaurants as possible but I just don't see them lasting long.

If you compare the staff at Ely's Ivy to the Toasted Frog you can see where Ely's is falling down.  In my opinion, the Frog has by far the best bartenders in town.  Food is great, but a bit exotic.  I wish they would add a couple of small plates or a great Burger for when I don't want a full meal.  I know they are right next to Joe Blacks and don't want to be a burger and beer joint, but something to eat at the bar besides the great pizza would be nice.  Wonderful service though.

I like their elk burger. The Frog in Bismarck just announced the addition of a beef hamburger to the menu, but I don't know if that's at the other locations too.

Braved the "construction zone" (READ: MESS!) in downtown tonight to hit up Thai Hot 3 across from the Empire.   My wife and I had been there before when they first opened and had a great meal but on a Saturday night at 6:30pm we walked in to a totally empty restaurant in the middle of a orange cone construction mess.    The waitress jumped up, happy to see us, and took great care of us for another fabulous meal but they're clearly suffering the effects of being in the middle of a construction zone.

They have a menu that would confuse most Mexican restaurant menu veterans but don't be intimidated by all the choices - they have a TON of great sushi rolls along with traditional Thai noodle dishes but also a lot more.   Try the baked mussel appetizers or the scallop shooters - amazing!   We ordered our dishes medium hot and I had a burn on my lips and a smile on my face the entire meal.   You'll find a lot of things on the menu that sound great and don't forget your wallet but it's worth it.   It really sucks they have to put up with all the construction downtown and they're a place that could use a hand (or a VISIT)  to keep them in business through this difficult time.

GF needs more than just another stupid bland burger restaurant.   WE REALLY NEED AN INDIAN RESTAURANT but that's another rant:-)  Give Thai Hot 3 a shot downtown....even if you need a map to get there!

You must have not had their chips and queso. Pancheros is king there.

Moe's is awesome- probably an unpopular opinion if it hasn't been mentioned yet.

Been twice - last year a couple weeks after it opened and again for graduation back in May. Second visit was much better than the first, but only food wise. They were waaaaay understaffed, to the point where I was empathetic for the server only being able to come around once every 20 minutes. The offering is unique much like the Frog's, giving the restaurant a lot of potential- just seems like they're shooting themselves in the foot in the way that they're trying to establish the brand.

Moe’s is pretty good.  For me in the burrito wars it’s:

1. Chipotle

2. Moe’s

5. Pancheros

7. QDoba

The service and cleanliness of Moe's off off 32nd and 25th in Fargo is disgusting. They have one of those single pop dispensers that give you 500+ different flavor options but generally it's out of everything but maybe 10 options.

.......they have had staffing issues there as well. Drug peddling related from a reliable source who works in law enforcement.

Other than that it's a terrific place to eat.

Had anybody eaten at Noel’s Cuisine(?) in downtown GF back in the mid 90’s? I think it was Pakistani food but I cannot remember for sure.
