I'd rather have a bunch of bad losers on my team than a group of guys that show hardly any emotion after losing big games. Also these are high school kids. Can't pretend that they're 50 year olds with tons of life experience to put perspective on situations like that. Everyone likes to win.....I want guys on my team that hate to lose more than they like winning.
siouxforce19
I wasn't impressed with the sportsmanship during the awards ceremony, but then again, I didn't attend Eden Prairie High School either. That school expects to come home with a championship. Look at how many of their sports teams compete every darn year at a state tournament and how many of them come home with those championships. I wouldn't have behaved that way in my high school days because my high school never qualified for state in really any team sport so if we had I would have just been thrilled to have been there. When these kids get older I think they'll learn to appreciate the opportunities they have as opposed to expect them.

I've played sports long enough to know that losing is as much of a part of it as winning. Guess I'm not sure at what age showing poor sportsmanship "in the heat of the moment" no longer acceptable? geaux_sioux
People who hate losing the most are usually the most successful in sports and in life.

He's somewhat gotten back on track in the BCHL. His fall from grace wasn't of the magnitude of Voltin's. Give him a year (two if B1G doesn't get their way). Can't wait to read about Tolvanen in this thread. He's apparently best buds with Keane. Only a matter of time.
