Penalty Kill over the last few years has been better for sure. There is an old saying that may apply here....you can't make chicken out of chicken soup Quote

tnt Posted March 24 Posted March 24 1 hour ago, dagies said: UND has a lot of spoiled fans. Getting the next great coach is far from a sure thing. Berry's teams almost always had a chance. Good character, good citizens. Good players. Maybe the next coach will be better. Might not be. I’m guessing if the new coach misses the tournament and home ice half the time and only gets a single NCAA win, we will be looking for another coach in 4-5 years, not 9. Perhaps if Berry’s title was in the middle of his tenure rather than the beginning, people would be more apt to look at things differently, but playoff hockey after that point was in decline, which didn’t help his resume. 1 Quote

FSD Hockey Posted March 24 Posted March 24 A dark horse might be Garrett Raboin at Augustana down in Sioux Falls. He’s young but what he’s down his first 2 years there to start that program is very impressive. He was an assistant for 4 years at Minnesota 1 Quote
