Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but from my experience attending and living in a city with an ECHL team, you are far less likely to make the NHL if you are in the ECHL in comparison to the AHL which is the next step. Players here have a better chance to make the NHL, mostly because they are more skilled. Again I could be wrong, but this is my interpretation of it

Pretty sure the freshman players move in the res halls soon if they haven’t yet. They will stay till the end of that 6 week session. So to answer your question, I think the players are back for a few weeks (e.g. 6 weeks or so) and then go back home for the last few weeks before the semester starts. Though I could be wrong. I used to be a summer resident assistant and that was how things used to be

I was watching a Chiclets video on instagram and Keaton said that the UND special on their platform was his first exposure to the program. That YouTube video is paying off quite well
