I think UND and NDSU would be very comparable to G5 schools. Quote

Ah, crap I deserved that.... when I looked at the page I was looking for a general A4 versus G5 norm and did see one. Thanks, for an informative substitute. Quote
Mama Sue Posted May 26 Posted May 26 So, do you think Artificial Intelligence or aliens have taken over college football (college sports) in general? More changes almost daily! Quote
NDRA Posted May 30 Posted May 30 I see the Rabbits vs Bizzzzon game is gonna be on ESPN. Rich keep getting Richer. Quote
Hawkster Posted May 30 Posted May 30 And it looks like SDSU at Oklahoma State might also be on national TV. Bison game against Colorado is already announced for ESPN. We sit here with nothing (again). Quote

This data doesn't seem to have updated 2023 data for UND or NDSU. In 2023, UND FB was up to $6,016,711 and NDSU was $6,405,716. Looks like Knightnewhouse just carried their 2022 info over to 2023 for some of the FCS schools. Quote

sioux24/7 Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Is USD getting too much hype? Feel like anytime I go on twitter I see stuff talking about them in the same breath as the xDSU’s and Montana’s right now. They certainly had a good year last year but it’s only one year removed from a 3-8 year. I know they have Bouman returning but no clue on the D, which I’d say was their strength. They could be legit, just an observation. 2 Quote

Could be wrong though, we'll see. As the the other poster mentioned, they seem to be like us and not be very consistent. I'll be kinda pissed if they actually follow through and back up the hype..... because we have never been able to do that. Quote
Mama Sue Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Well NIL opened a huge door in college sports. Now the U.S. Court of Appeals in Philadelphia ruled on a “test” to determine if students are eligible for minimum wage. The court ruled they may be eligible if they perform services for their schools’ benefit in return for express or implied compensation or in-kind benefit. WOW Quote

No link or other info. This may have been initial ruling because the article mentioned future rulings/appeals related to some labor laws. It seems some athletes are considering themselves employees based on their games make so much revenue for the schools. Some college athletes have or are organizing into labor unions.,what a mess. Sane should they apply to band cheerleaders etc in the sporting realm but also teaching assistants and other positions doing actual work in support of the school academic mission. At some point I think you will see regular students start pushing back on this. They are paying for this stuff and student loans are at least partially attributable to sports costs. 1 Quote
SiouxForever Posted August 5 Posted August 5 What are some honest predications for the ND State vs. Colorado game? Quote
F'n Hawks Posted August 5 Posted August 5 14 minutes ago, SiouxForever said: What are some honest predications for the ND State vs. Colorado game? I wish it would be a blowout but I think it’ll be close. I think NDSU will be able to run the ball and sustain long drives on offense. Quote
