Wilbur Posted November 5, 2023 Author Posted November 5, 2023 Hall didn't look terrible. Now he's out. Just a loss today any way you look at it. Guys are battling, can't be upset. Quote
Wilbur Posted November 5, 2023 Author Posted November 5, 2023 Josh Dobbs for the win....only the Vikings..... Quote
Vegas_Sioux Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Dobbs with another. And speaking of terrible officiating how do you get a hands to the face penalty when you have your helmet ripped off? 1 Quote
Frozen4sioux Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Saw this... felt it timely to share... Just a reminder that the soul crushing reality of being a Vikings fan..... has you right where it wants you right now, with hope and desperate longing for possibility. Tickled along with just enough of the drug you need to keep you hooked and addicted to the destruction you know is coming. There really should be a name from norse mythology that represents the evil that plagues these tortured souls. Quote
The Sicatoka Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 They have a place: You think of Niflheim, the opposite of Valhalla, and ruled by Hel. Niflheim is infinitely ... cold. Norse/Germanic Mythology was one of my favorite general electives at UND. 1 Quote

The Sicatoka Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Someone I know submitted "Mjolnir" ... we could've been "The Hammer". ... of course we'd have to get approval of a former hockey defenseman named Trevor ... 2 Quote

Wilbur Posted November 17, 2023 Author Posted November 17, 2023 Joe Burrow now hurt.....wow.....remaining schedule......hmmm.....they're doing it to me again.... @ Denver......Toss up... The Bears.....Gotta be a win... @ Raiders.....Win.... @ Bengals....No Burrow means a better chance..... Lions.......Toss up.... Packers.....Are the Packers tanking at this point? @ Lions....Are the Lions playing for anything this week? I'm going to say they finish 11-6. Lions still win the division. Quote
Nodak78 Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Vikings 3-4 seems to work manic against Denver's run game. Quote
Wilbur Posted November 20, 2023 Author Posted November 20, 2023 That game was just destined to be a loss. Play calling, turnovers, clock management..... 6-5 now. I think if they lose to the Bears you give the keys back to Jaren Hall if he's healthy and play out the season with him. Quote
zonadub Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Was that Tommy Schuster in a Broncos uniform? Or was Danny Freund calling the Broncos’ plays? The passes seems to be mostly wide-out screens. Didn’t connect on downfield throws until the end. 1 Quote

The Sicatoka Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 The Vikings feel like Illinois State this morning. A -3 turnover margin? MIN was lucky to be in the game. Quote

Neither team going anywhere. 1 Quote
tnt Posted November 21, 2023 Posted November 21, 2023 So the NFL suspends Jackson for Denver for 4 games for leading with his helmet on a hit in which Dobbs fumbled and Denver capitalized with a field goal to start the game. So not only do they hurt the Vikings in that game, they also give Detroit help because he will miss that game. Quote

If only there was a group of individuals in a league central location with TV angles that had the power to stop the game while they reviewed dangerous hits, or noticed possible head injuries for players. That's my dream for the NFL. Some day..... Quote

Some day..... or just go back to the days where the officials......closest to the action do their job...... this above micoromanaging is partially why attendance is down at football and hockey games...... what used to be a fun 2+ plus is now 3+ hours with officalials announcing penalties for "continual contact to head and or targeting"...whatever that means. SiouxBoys Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 At least tonight answered the question whether Dobbs was the QB of the future or not. Quote

rochsioux Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 This loss and last weeks loss to Denver are all on O’Connell and his bizarre play calling. Quote
