What’s with WDAY Bison pre-game show using a UND helmet that hasn’t been used for close to a decade.

Low bid; low budget.

Low class, low IQ, more like it.
I refuse to watch any pregame show out of Fargo; bias aplenty with that crap.

Midco pregame is where it’s at.

how many FCS titles does that include for UND?

Probably more than NDSU will ever have I suppose....

Similar talk late 80’s early 90’s. Bizun lost their edge or as Rocky said Fat Cat syndrome. I think that is what Bizun fans worry about, is that History may repeat itself.

bringing up the all time record when NDSU has 9 titles in 11 years is just a silly way to make yourself feel good about a program that in all likelihood, will never win an FCS title unless basically all the top 5 teams left in the FCS leave for FBS

This is pure b*llshit.

does it hurt your little feelings that bad to think UND could be better than NDSU even while NDSU is in the MVFC?

UND will definitely beat NDSU, possibly even today. But bringing up the all time record when NDSU has 9 titles in 11 years is just a silly way to make yourself feel good about a program that in all likelihood, will never win an FCS title unless basically all the top 5 teams left in the FCS leave for FBS.

When UND beats NDSU you'll all act like NDSU is terrible and they suck. Meanwhile, they will just keep winning titles.

I have said or posted nothing like that. So don’t say you….secondly, yes it is great about what they (Bizun) have done, but with sport or anything for that matter it is the now.

Do posters bring stuff up from the past yes. I do not go on their forum and try to defend UND or bring up the past because it’s their forum.

The series has often been in streaks, I just hope it’s not like the drought of 81ish to 1994 type drought.

The signature win of the season for either team will be this game. That has to sting one side when their non-rival will be their signature win.

Per Massey (11/14/22):

NDSU W: 22, 27, 30, 34, 54, 60, 104, 126,
NDSU L: 2 and FBS 77

UND W: 23, 27, 28, 34, 37, 52, 60
UND L: 2, 22, and FBS 69

The significant difference? NDSU beat 22 (SIU); UND did not.

You may not like it, but a team that has won 9 of the last 11 FCS championships and gone 41-3 in FCS playoff games is going to be judged by different standards than a team who  has won one playoff game in 4 tries.

Pro tip: Bet the under on that.

No argument from me that ndsu has been amazing in football for too long. I tip my hat.

doesn’t mean that the game today is a given. I would think that the su is and should be the favorite today.

let’s play the game and see how it goes

go UND!

So it’s about reputation and feelings (FCS stogies and scotch seeding process) and not cold analytics (NCAA hockey PWR)?

And they wonder why I trust hockey more.

I think so, yes.
Typically, when you win the natty 80% of the time in the last decade, you don't get excited about a regular season win.

tell that to Mount Union Purple Raiders....

IMO, it is impossible to properly evaluate any football team without considering what that team has done in prior years. Every team is the product of what has come before the current year.

But you rank them on this years performance. Different than evaluating a team/program. Prior history doesn’t get you wins or cause losses this year.

Do they get excited about regular season wins? I guess I honestly don't know, I don't follow them or their fans.

and they don't follow ndac/fcs....99% of people paying attention to this game are from north dakota..same as the brawl of the wild
