I don’t think a team ever stops building depth so the fact we were saying the same things 5 years ago isn’t surprising.

That’s not what I’m saying at all. I’m saying we’ve been a “year away” at the same positions for great depth and haven’t actually gotten there ever at OL or QB under Bubba. Could say the same for safety.

But no real depth. We need to have 10 solid OL. When was the last time we had that?

I’d argue you really could get by with 8 which we have been close.  Few, if any teams have 10.

Safety I can agree with.  We have been a bit thin for years.

Nebraska hasn't been good for years. Iowa is always overrated in an overrated Big 10 . There are like 3 good teams in Big 10, the rest are not. . 3 pre-conference games against trash teams, and then win 3-5 conference wins against teams just as trash. Bam you got 7-8 wins!

you mean that minny win over new mexico state wasn't a huge win for jackass pj fleck?????? haha

I think Iowa is the perfect team for a SDSU or NDSU to play.  If you can hang in there in the trenches you'll be okay because they aren't going to spread you out whatsoever.

Hopefully the Jacks can get a win.
