Where can I sign the petition to stop the non-sweep TCoS?  Seems like we are celebrating a participation trophy.

Tonight was a great win. But it is supposed to take a great weekend for a stick salute.

I believe it was in recognition of the fan support not related to a series split.

Was at the game. The score doesn’t reflect how well the boys played. Defense was superior tonight. Driscoll made some big saves too. Boys got sticks in lanes and on shots. Well played game considering how Friday went

I was as well and would agree. As dominant as Minnesota was last night UND was even more stifling tonight. The biggest difference was the Gophers got a couple fluky goals to go with their dominant performance on Friday.

Much better performance tonight.  Gophers sure made it interesting at the end though!

Lafontaine had a lot to do with the score being close. Pretty lopsided play in our favor most of game.

It's the traditional Circle of Sticks - a native tradition Hammered out years ago - deal with it.

Notes: Berry said Calder is unlikely to play next weekend against St. Cloud State. . . UND also played without second-line winger Matteo Costantini (ill) for a fourth-straight game and fourth-line winger Jackson Kunz (upper-body injury) for a fourth-straight game.

Must have been once hell of a slash to Calder if they're already essentially ruling him out for the SCSU series too.
Hopefully he's not out for too long.

And hopefully one or both of Constantini/Kunz is ready to go.

Just read Schlossman’s article about the game and he mentioned that Calder is likely out for next weekend’s series against St. Cloud, according to Berry. That sucks.

After an extremely disappointing effort on Friday, kudos for the turn around on Saturday. Splits are fine during this stretch, but they are playing with fire losing Friday nights. Tough for Calder, but I guess the bright side is this would be the most opportune time for this injury to happen. Two series and then three weeks off without any games (not counting the exhibition against U-18). They really need Constantini / Kunz back. Forward line up without Calder / Constantini / Kunz really takes a hit. Overall, a good weekend results wise.

You could see on the replay that the gopher player swung his stick using both hands as hard as he could.

May have been to send a message about Kleven’s cross checking major.

What?! That is straight up blasphemy! Just ask any Gopher fan, their players are saints in skates. :hypocrite:

They put Gaber back on his strong side for the PP too.
Such a weird decision to have him on the weak side when he's shown he can be so good from the strong side.

To put someone in what is Ovechkin’s Office you need a one timer. That’s not Gaber. Gaber wants to catch, load, and pick a spot.

Berry sound hopeful that he "might" be able to return against CC.
