brianvf Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 UNO up 2-1 with a PPG...5min left in 1st Quote
AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Oh man. Duluth's D is a shadow of its former self. Quote
tnt Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 I would think without inter-conference play this year we would want teams we are paired with after the Pod to do well against the other teams, much like we want our league to do well for Pairwise. If teams we play a lot in the second half do well, it will help the optics if committees pick the tourney. Quote
dden3 Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Anybody with the name Sundberg should be playing in Grand Forks Quote
NoiseInsideMyHead Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Center ice camera man panned right on the long clearing try but was way too slow and missed Duluth's ENG. Not a great start for the Pod's TV crew. Early season rust, hopefully. Quote

brianvf Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 UNO coughed that one up nicely...UMD with 4 goals in the 3rd. Quote
90siouxfan Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Wonder if the player benches on opposite sides made Oh ma haa the most covid friendly venue? 1 Quote
brianvf Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 Denver leading UMD 1-0 after 2. DU outshooting them 24-9 so far, including 18-1 in the 2nd. Quote
brianvf Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 UMD wins 2-1 with 2 PPG in the 3rd. 2nd game in a row that they've won after trailing entering the 3rd. Quote

I won’t say I was rooting but certainly don’t like what UND could face on Friday. A team with their hair on fire. Bring it on. I think it says more of UMD on the second half of a back to back. Although without the help of PPs, could’ve been a different outcome. Quote
siouxfan512 Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 I'm pretty excited to see what Gaber will do as he settles in. UND had a ton of chances last night, they will continue to bury more of those as they knock the rust off. They looked really solid last night, and yeah, I would have like to have seen a few more goals last night, but they will come. Just great to see college hockey back. I have to say, I watch some of the Gopher vs. Ohio State the other week, and this last night looked like a whole different level of hockey. Gophers looked solids, Ohio State looked really sluggish, but I didn't think either team looked overly impressive for being top ten teams. Just my opinion, and I didn't even have that much to go off of. Quote

If we get out of this POD and Duluth is ahead of us, we no longer control our destiny as far as the Penrose. Don't understand why we have to play Denver so much when we play them a lot outside the POD. We really need to care of business when we play Duluth. Quote

Then we don't have to worry about much. 1 Quote

AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 BU has a positive case and canceled their game today. Quote
brianvf Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 OSU beats UW 4-2 PSU lights up Michigan, beating them 9-5. Defense + goaltending optional in that game. Quote
brianvf Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Tychonick with his first point for UNO, an assist. UNO tied with WMU, 1-1 in the 1st. Quote

MDtoGF Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 We are covering more schools this year along with UND, and the starter for UAH has a very similar situation he finds himself in now to what he did for his junior team, read more about it here, feedback appreciated as we will have more features from UAH and other schools to augment UND coverage this year! https://seamoresports.com/2020/12/03/david-fessenden-dedicated-to-getting-better/ Quote
SiouxForever Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 I’m just glad more college hockey games are getting played day by day to have a larger sample size with hopefully continued no covid bs. Good to have hockey back! Quote
brianvf Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 UNO beats WMU 10-2. Don't often see double digit goals. They used up all their pod goals in game 2 Quote
