Great news about the vaccine. I thought we were told it would take a couple of years at least.

we can’t shut down again. I am not smart enough to know what should be done but shutting down isn’t one of them

not a fan of shutting down high school sports

ugh

South Minneapolis Target that was looted and destroyed soon to reopen. Making the new design more "black" friendly. Does that mean putting all the most widely desired looted products at the front of the store just in case it happens again?

Apparently people referred to it as targetto.

83% of all covid deaths in ND are from those 70 and older.

So you're safe if your 69 years old heading to the El Rocco tonight for your gin and juice while requesting another Snoop Dogg song.

Meanwhile little Johnny and his friend Max will put away their skates, BB sneakers or soccer boots for a few weeks. Least they have distance learning to look forward to.

Local high school hockey player I know had all sorts of opportunities to play juniors or midget hockey but stayed to play with his friends because having a season looked likely.

Kid may jump ship now and join a junior team, because what happens on December 14th when it gets pushed back again?

At today's 'Million MAGA March" in DC.   These nutcases are no different than Antifa.  Only difference is, unlike these inbreds at a pro-Trump rally, you're unlikely to find Antifa at pro-Biden events.

Antifa now teaming up on people in the streets of DC with any kind of MAGA signs or material from today's rally.

There’s no way high school sports are a go on the 14th. The winter sports season is gone.

They are very different from Antifa. They don't burn down anything. I haven't seen anything about them attacking anyone

I think it's dorky and hokey to march in support of a politician generally speaking, but Democrats have been doing marches for decades so if anything, its more akin to that than antifa/blm type nonsense.

I agree. Burgum couldn't handle this any worse. Delay four week. Then he'll delay it again from Dec. 14 until after the holidays at which point he'll pull the plug and we'll all then wait to hear from Biden what else we can't do come end of January.

If there is no spring HS sports in ND for a second consecutive year Burgum might as well pack his bags and move to MN or go north into Canada because he will get chased out of Bismarck.

Here is the difference between the MAGA nut cases as you say and the thugs Antifa/BLM.  Is if you didn't know.

I noticed that Antifa waited to come out until after the other rally was over......again......

How much different would Doug’s election margin of victory have been had he pulled this earlier?  Oh welp, at least we’ve got Dr. Becker and the Bastiats to save the day.

Frank's in South Fargo last night was hopping. Parking lot was packed. Burgum just too stupid and ignorant to do the right thing. He knows the demographic at the root of the spread.

It would be tempting to walk in and loudly offer a free drink to any health care worker with ID and see how many are out. And then ask why they are out if it’s so terrible.

Best I could do without crayons, sorry bud.

One of the things UND Law School teaches (as many times my Uncle would council me on) is to get a grasp of the whole situation/incendent/story/so on. Not just pick out what you like - like your buds T & Ruddy do!
Try tell me again, where does the "That's Fraud" come in.

A person that blindly just parrots.....masks masks masks....preaching about the need to be able to objectively look at the entire picture.  That's classic.

How about teachers? They’re at the bars at 3:30 on Fridays.

Since when do these people represent ‘half of America’?   These nutjobs are the radical elements of the Right, drawn to Trumpism.
Shows where your allegiances lie.    But in the real world, these inbreds don’t represent conservatives or conservatism.

When Trump is thrown out on his ass, the Republican party is likely to undergo modification.   The Trump Trash will continue espousing their little man syndrome, reality TV mentality and Qanon conspiracies; meanwhile the rest of the party will return to respectable conservatism.

What modification do you anticipate? As long as Georgia stays red in the senate, this election was a win for conservatism. America spoke pretty clearly, they like conservative policies, but dislike trump. Gaining a huge percentage of black men during this election was a coup for the right. I don’t see the GOP needing to change, I see the democrats needing to focus the attention more on its moderate members and telling the squad to go kick rocks.

These are girls youth hockey tournaments that were to be hosted in Grand Forks during Burgum's miniature reign of terror.

Hotel revenue. Restaurant revenue. Poof!

Grand Forks gets a black eye in the regional hockey community.

God, I hope the GF hockey association can find a way...some way...to end this nonsense.

But the parents, if they so choose, could still come to GF that weekend and sit and drink all day, unmasked, for a couple days at Joe Black's?

Not quite, but a lot of poiticians seem to think washing your hands and carrying a yard stick is good for all of us.
ND becomes 35th state to require masks.
You know what they'll do next if people will listen to T and fight and make fun of these safe gaurds and keep spreding the virus?

Giuliani wrecks Trump campaign's well-laid legal plans

President Donald Trump’s senior campaign aides were gathered in their headquarters Saturday morning when word emerged that Rudy Giuliani would be holding a news conference in the parking lot of a Philadelphia landscaping business.

a man wearing a suit and tie: Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, a lawyer for President Donald Trump, pauses as he speaks during a news conference on legal challenges to vote counting in Pennsylvania, Saturday Nov. 7, 2020, in Philadelphia.

They knew that meant trouble.

Senior campaign aides scurried to urge organizers to kill the event, infamously staged at the wrong “Four Seasons” — a landscaping business adjacent to an adult bookstore and a crematorium. But Giuliani plowed ahead anyway, delivering a conspiracy-filled rant that undercut the legal strategy the president’s advisers had meticulously mapped out in the run-up to the election.

Campaign officials described the episode as disastrous, saying it scared off many of the lawyers they spent months recruiting, who now no longer wanted to be involved. With the campaign already facing exceedingly long odds in its recount efforts, there are widespread concerns within Trumpworld and GOP circles that Giuliani’s antics are thwarting the president’s legal machinery from within.

“I can’t imagine that a rational person" in the general public "wouldn’t be adversely affected by the way he conducts himself,” said Barry Richard, who represented George W. Bush in the 2000 Florida recount.

Yet Giuliani is taking on a heightened role. The president on Friday appointed him to oversee any new post-election litigation. The move, which was first reported by the New York Times, has distressed top campaign officials and other advisers, who worry Giuliani's Hail Mary ploys will damage Trump's reputation and potentially harm his future political aspirations.
