I am not sure SDSU was the best team at the end of the season. They had Daum and Jenkins and not much after that. They had NO bench. It will eventually catch up to you. Especially when the whistles get put away in the tournament. 1 Quote

If hes better than we think then he needs to prove it before we do a long term extension like we did for our EX WBB coach. 1 Quote
northernraider Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 Will Bison be forced a play in game or be an automatic 16/15 seed? No way they get higher then 15. Quote

As a conference you want your best team in the tournament to win games, win money, and increase the profile of your conference. Fair? You win the regular season conference title you get to reward your team, school, and town with a nice weekend tourney. Didn't know Brookings was the end of the road...if so, why are we losing so many recruits to them them? Nothing wrong with Brookings as long as they are not hosting a conference tournament in that town. Quote

From the games I watched Daum got the benefit of the doubt from refs throughout the season. Quote

Not sure what you're talking about, MW never received any sort of extension, she was on her original contract that was approved by GT. There's no question that DR gets a 3-4 year extension at this point to add on to the year remaining. Shades of Jones' extension, though he was in the last year of his contract, not the second to last. Quote
petey23 Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 Have to give NDSU credit. They beat the teams that were in front of them. Not great talent but good depth and they move and share the ball pretty well....and they seem to have gone unconscious from 3 in Sioux Falls. They normally hit around 9 of 26 on average. They went 34-70 in Sioux Falls which includes going 4-12 in 2nd half yesterday(30-58 before that). To put it in statistical perspective you could just as easily expect them to miss their next 26 3 point attempts as you could expect them to go 34-70....or if you went on normal makes over a 3 game period to balance it out you could expect them to go 15 for their next 70. The Bison are 18-15. They are pretty much a guaranteed 16 seed in the tournament. Would not be surprised to see them play in the First Four games in Dayton. Quote
