You're making my point for me. I didn't miss or assume anything, which is why I specifically put it in quotations that he had left the team and then indicated that he had prior off-field issues that the media hasn't mentioned at all. Klieman was the one that said it was a "mutual decision" and the media dutifully repeated reported that without bothering to ask any follow-up questions. :silly:

But since you're clearly indicating that there is more to the story, we're all anxious to here why a top 3 WR is no longer with the team in the middle of a playoff run, because the Fargo media has no interest in it.

I didnt indicate anything.  I just put it out there as a possibility. :) You just happened to extrapolate on it.

We would?  Or we wouldn't have heard about it.  Did we hear about Conor Riley?  Or Leevon Perry a bunch of times?  Or...….and the list goes on.  Athletes/coaches get in trouble with the law at UND and it's news.  Players and coaches from the highest profile program at NDSU get in trouble with the law and it's conveniently not mentioned by their "beat writer (lap dog)" even though it's public record.

If it is public record then share what all athletes and coaches have done in the past 5 years. That would approx be when the 2 head coaches took over.

The Perry DUI was in the news and he was suspended for it. Did you you want it on the front page for a week?

IDK - personally I tend to think that there is too much public information about players. Everyone is human. I know I wouldn't be able to pass the smell test of how many times I have driven after drinking. Just my two cents.

Who cares about NDSU and their relationship with the media. A kids career is over. I don’t care who he played for there is no reason to drag him in the mud.

I wish Klieman all the luck in the world if this opportunity materializes.  Snyder's nature will be to undermine his successor, Taylor will need to manage that.

I hope him and his whole staff navigate those landmines to the best of their ability.

no way snyder lets taylor choose an fcs guy to replace him over the guy from oregon.

Bison fans are upset that KState fans don’t want Kleinman with the comments on FB. I guess they saw the piss poor job Bohl did to start his FBS careeer with Wyoming they don’t want that, even though Bohl has turned that program around.

no way that snyder doesn't have a former assistant coach somewhere that will take over for him instead of handing it over to  guy he knows nothing about and is in the FCS.

Maybe Taylor could be the deciding factor. Could you imagine the outrage if a Kleinman led K-State team loses to Kansas. They would be getting torches ready in Manhattan.

Unique but very interesting situation.

If Klieman ends up being the guy for K State, I wonder what kind of impact that would have on NDSU football. Bohl being hired by Wyoming certainly didn’t adversely affect NDSU.
