siouxfan512 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 There's an echo in here. What else can be said Quote
siouxfan512 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I'm not blaming any of guys I blame the zebras Nope, enough blame to go arounD. Bad calls on the refs, some poor timely execution on our boys Quote
NewUNDAlum Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Any guesses on who stays and who go's? I have a feeling we are going to get one more season out of Zane after tonight. Quote
Daddy WarPipes Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Wishing Hak/staff and the 2015-16 edition of Fighting Sioux good luck and success for the next season. They will be back!!! Quote
GO_FIGHTING_SIOUX_GO Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 And Jacks Afro I'm blaming that and the fact he looks like a leprechaun. Imagin playing against a leprechaun it would be tough not to want to hit it and take his gold Quote
SiouxScore Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Just a disappointing end to the season feels like we are just jinxed when it comes to the Frozen Four lately. This one felt similar to the Michigan semi at the X a few years ago. Tons of chances 3 or 4 posts/crossbars but just couldn't convert on enough of them and BU converted on their good chances while Zane struggled for one of the only times all season. Whoever made the call to have Marco Hunt and his buddy ref tonight deserves some credit handing BU 2 powerplays early on very questionable calls and then taking Pattyn to the box with Rodrigues after that cheap ass came off the bench and slashed Pattyn in the neck. Hopefully we get everyone back to take care of unfinished business I really can't see Zane wanting to end his Fighting Sioux career the way it went tonight. Quote
MafiaMan Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Rodriguez should get his ass wooped. They should've pulled him out of the hand shake line and beat HIS ASS Because THAT would look great for the program on national TV... 3 Quote
Cratter Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 How can you have an "off night" this many times at the F4. So D@$n frustrated as a fan Maybe Haks not too good with a week off on the national stage? 1 Quote
GDPritch Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Well considering he has shown up he deserves it, we don't deserve it.Of course they are going to talk about him. I'm convinced even though the east teams don't play more like NHL teams they seem to get more high-end, skill talent anymore. How else do you explain how their freshmen can rack up respectable point totals (and as young freshmen) yet the high end skill players we seem to get anymore have played juniors and don't seem to start racking up points until soph or jr years (with a few exceptions) even after scoring lots of pts in juniors prior to playing at UND? GO_FIGHTING_SIOUX_GO Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Because THAT would look great for the program on national TV... oh well Quote
BringDeanBack Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Good think Hak got in via the Alumni Director's family when the gettin was good. Quote
siouxfan512 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Because THAT would look great for the program on national TV... yep, dumb comment Quote

Not to mention the good East teams rake us through the coals Quote
GO_FIGHTING_SIOUX_GO Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Might as well make more news it would take some pressure off the nickname crap Quote
nhockey30 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Tough loss and a tough way to end a great season. We out played them for most of the game but they had more of the puck luck tonight, we did not. Everyone here needs to step back and calm down. We had a great season. Good job boys! Quote
SIOUXELEVENS Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Time to move on Hakstol, has lost in almost every way in the biggest game of the year. Players change every year but what is the common demoninator, hmmmmm They even changed one coach same results. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Time to try something or somebody different. 2 Quote
UND1983 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Hopefully we get everyone back to take care of unfinished business. How many years are they going to keep trying to "finish" their business? Hopefully they are not using that line in the locker room. It doesnt work. 1 Quote
GDPritch Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 The thing is, Zane has bailed this team out all season. Time for our big guns on offense to pick him up. We just suck at putting the puck in the net. Agree. W/o Zane we're not here this year. Upper classmen forwards need to put pucks in net, such as Cags, Parks, etc and that aint' happening. Is that poor performance or poor recruiting on Haks part...? Quote
Handsome Rob Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Absolutely. Patton, skating to the bench gets the slash to the throat by dirty BU player. Patton turns and skates toward BU player for getting a throat slash. Some choice words probably said by Patton. Matching majors. Sure, why not! Quote
rjjockers Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 How many years are they going to keep trying to "finish" their business? Hopefully they are not using that line in the locker room. It doesnt work. I think it's the new team motto Quote
GO_FIGHTING_SIOUX_GO Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Oh well there's always next year Quote
GO_FIGHTING_SIOUX_GO Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 It's not easy being a no name team from NDagreed Quote
burd Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Not a single player or coach on this team has anything to apologize for. Fans of this team should be proud of the way they have played and the way they handled themselves this year. I would go all in that they have outperformed the way their loudest critics perform their own day jobs. 3 Quote
farce poobah Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Another commonality of these Frozen Four frustrations has been the enormous, massive turnout of Fighting Sioux fans. Well done. Quote
