LOL, when we went there a few years ago it was definitely pretty bad on the way into town... I remember that I had read about the stink on this message board, but never thought it would actually be as bad as it was! Luckily, I don't remember smelling it on campus. I think it smelled worse than dogshit - more like rotting flesh. Kind of like the smell in South St. Paul... times about 20. 2 Quote

Mama Sue Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 MN’s St. Thomas has “ involuntarily left the MIAC Conference.” They are considering D-II, possibly NSIC with a goal to be DI in the future. WIAC was also mentioned..... Quote
Siouxperfan7 Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 So will the Sitting Bull trophy be up for grabs in 2020? UND360 seems to think so. Obviously it wasn't [played for in 2016 and 2017, but will they resurrect the trophy when they are back in the same conference? In this day and age, would UND even consider it? Quote

If they can’t, they should start working on another one. No reason why not to. Quote

I don't think I have ever heard of one with SDSU and UND. From my understand and reading, they are looking into making a new trophy for UND and NDSU. I sure hope there will be at least one by 2020. As of this very moment in time the UND Side would have 2.0 (or the GPA to be eligible, maybe it is 2.5) NDSU side has to have Ben Newman slamming a "Clean Victory" But, I suppose a broader look will be required. I don't see why the oldest schools in SD and ND can't play for the Sitting Bull Trophy. Its about a historical burial than two mascots on a coin which the nickel represented. https://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/28961 Quote
Hambone Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Hadn't seen this posted. UND will have a home/home with Dixie State. 2022 (H) and 2024 (A). 2020 is their first transitioning year to D1. https://fbschedules.com/dixie-state-adds-nine-more-games-to-future-football-schedules/ One thing I don't like about these as they appear to fall in the conference season, so the bye week for UND during this time frame will be at the beginning of the season. https://fbschedules.com/ncaa/north-dakota/ Quote
