Kind of have to agree with them. Having a quick process to hire a new coach was to keep player from going to the portal who went to the portal anyway why not wait until after the regionals or Frozen Four to start the interviews. Saying they prefer a candidate with ties to UND, eliminates 99.9% of the coaches and they only have 0.1 % to hire from.

Can someone give me a list of the quality Head Coaches, Assitant Coaches, Athletic directors, and Presidents that have been successful at UND, without UND ties in some form.....

Other than the less visible programs, how often do they go outside?   One hiring I wish they would have kept with UND ties is the Athletic Director.  Josh Morton > Bill Chaves.

Never applied. Or he somehow wasn't a finalist, which I find hard to believe.

If he was truly the guy, unless you are doing it for appearances only, why bother with the work of opening it up as an external hire. That makes no sense.

I hope Dane and Bubbs have different d-zone philosophies as well because besides the PK (yikes) our even strength d-zone play was abysmal at many times this year.  

And maybe it wasn't the philosophy, maybe it was an issue of buy in from the team on the d-zone philosophy.

Why aren't we hearing more calling for the AD's job.  It's time.  Over 20 wins and you get fired?  Men's BB not a good season and he's keeping his job??  

Wonder if ticket sales will decrease next year??

What letter was that?  To me, if Berry said that, then he wasn't confident that his own assistants were capable of being in charge, which is kind of an indictment on himself.

If an employer fires an employee for lack of performance why would they listen to what that employee thinks is best for the employer?

Lack of leadership and inability to make critical decisions and players lose confidence in him. Now he’s dealing w/dissention. Plus issues w/his own staff. I still dont get it.  The biggest question?  How well did anyone know coach berry? What happened to him? Was he struggling w/personal issues? Implosions like this just dont happen overnight.  In the end und had to make a change. I seriously doubt und/brad berry can keep a lid on this story. Time will tell. Go sioux!!

Much like I wish I didn't know the backstory on Eades, outside of any malfeasance with the trademark I don't want to know any more about Berry's termination.

I think it's important to not just look at wins in men's basketball. These guys are being asked to build new rosters every year.

I will have a 5 min one on one with Dane Jackson. I already have some questions down that were brought up before, but if they aren't asked during the main speech (by other media) I will ask him one on one.

Not sure if you consider these smart or reasonable but two things I’m interested in are will players be allowed to wear fishbowls and also would he allow players to wear numbers outside of the traditional numbers that we have seen (players 2-29 and goalies 1, 30-35)?
