Und246 Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 So UND beat 2 teams in the playoffs? Drake and NDSU. Am I missing someone. Did NDSU beat a playoff team? Quote

Siouxperfan7 Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Why did UND pick the game to start at noon? Why not keep things as close to normal as possible? (And yes, UND licks the start time). Quote

Regardless, in theory making Sac State play a game at 10am local time seems a bigger adjustment than UND adjusting to noon. 7 Quote

Popular Post Dustin Posted November 20, 2023 Popular Post Posted November 20, 2023 I actually thought game times were assigned by the NCAA and/or their broadcast partners (ESPN in this case). I had assumed we just got lucky that a previously unscheduled football game did not interfere with an already scheduled hockey game. But if UND got to pick the time, I would assume it was done so fans could easily attend both the football game and the hockey game on Saturday. Also, making a pacific time team play an early game can also be an advantage, like Johnnyboy said. 6 Quote

CMSioux Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 I saw that Sacramento was one of the last four in, which means UND had some respect in the room, although it probably wasn't Larson. Quote

Interviewer asked if he got down for clock management. He sounded kinda sheepish about it, " ... felt them tugging at the ball ... so I got down ... GoHawks Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 UND is 3-2 all time vs Sac State and neither team has won at home.... Quote
SIOUX29 Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Noon start, puts their body clock at 10am! Team meal at 6am! Start taping at 4:45amish! Up at 4amish! So, we have that going for us!! 1 Quote

UND1983 Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 I am sure the NCAA wants to spread out times, along with UND having a home hockey game. Made sense Quote
SIOUXFAN97 Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 how about move the time for the hockey game and announce a night playoff game (like richmond).................just saying. Quote
Popular Post geaux_sioux Posted November 20, 2023 Popular Post Posted November 20, 2023 I’m looking for a ground and pound game plan. You’ve got a Cali team coming in. They hate coming to GF. It’s a super early kickoff time for them. Just pound the rock over and over and over until they want to quit and then pound it some more. Hopefully the weather is grey and cold and windy and depressing to make things even worse for them mentally. 12 Quote

SIOUXFAN97 Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 couldn't we look it at it as keep those hornets locked up in the lucky inn for a night game looking out the window at nothing for a few extra hours might f them up in head instead of just pulling the bandaid? let's face it.....bubba is asleep by 8pm most nights...his call i guess 2 Quote

Ive blocked the 2nd half or at least the 4th quarter of the richmond game out of my mind. Also the scheduling was bad.. quite a few people left to get to the hockey game thinking it was over. I would maybe prefer a 1 or 2:00 start, but im fine with the noon start for all the reasons mentioned above. Quote

The hockey game that night was in NYC, so no one left the football game to attend the hockey game. Unless you mean to watch on TV. Quote
