UND didn’t cover so the refs did their job.

Wasn’t always pretty, but they did what they had to keep the momentum going and keeping the fan base engaged.  Hopefully there are some lessons being learned along the way that they can address going forward.

That team showed some mental toughness. Poor officiating, loss of momentum but they kept battling. Now correct what can be corrected, hopefully get healthy of to SIU.

Put the ball in the hands of your calm, experienced QB and ask him to score 7 in under 2 minutes, and he did just that.

Awesome Win!  The team was incredibly resilient.  All of the haters might have to give bubba a little credit for a close victory on the road.

couple of thoughts

• the officiating was a gigantic challenge.. many terrible crucial calls.. terrible
• how many games are we going to have to watch KK get worked over for a big TD.  Ive always loved watching the heart of that guy but he is really struggling in coverage.
• Everyone was ripping the D.. through 3 quarters they had outscored our offense :)..
• Feed the Hoose!  My two favorite things about UNI.. getting the hoose.. and beating them last week
• bubba was alternately awesome and infuriating.. that FG attempt at the end of the 2nd half was a terrible coaches call.

I like winning a close one on the road.. its a new experience :)..

That stress sucks knowing we lost those tight games last year! Feels so much better to win those! 
 

I had a bad feeling we left way too much time on the clock! Glad that didn’t bite us but good knowing we score there.

penalties killed us and many were not our fault, good to overcome those because they really killed drives and extended theirs!
