Most likely infection develops by day 6 or 7, but can go up to 14 days. That's where the quarantine guidelines come from. The 11 days is looking at how long someone is contagious once infected. Right now CDC guidelines are based on symptom resolution and negative diagnostic tests. But if this study holds true, it means someone would no longer be contagious after 11 days, even if they are still symptomatic at that point. Expand Gotcha, that makes sense.
