darell1976
Good new is we get a game on Root Sports this season: http://bigskyconf.com/news/2015/4/23/FB_0423154719.aspx You mean we get a game on the Montana Sports Network. 5 times for Montana, 5 times for Montana State, 3 times for Eastern Washington. None for Cal Poly, Idaho State, and Northern Colorado.
mksioux
The deal between the Big Sky and Root also means no UND conference games on FCS. Right, but that's the case regardless of whether UND gets a game on Root. By getting a game on Root, it actually makes it more difficult for most UND fans to watch it. Hawkster
It's really disappointing that there isn't more media attention to the spring game. Maybe Faison needs to step up pressure on WDAY to start doing more? Next concern is whether the fall games will be promoted heavier than in the past? We are going totally dominated by NDSU in all facets of the media and it needs to stop. Do many people even realize we HAVE a spring game tomorrow? Not sure why the finger would be pointed at any of the local media when UND themselves aren't doing much to promote it. I know its partially by design because of the circumstances and it isn't even a true scrimmage but it is still disappointing.

We can only count on WDAZ since KVLY hasn't had any or hardly any reporting on UND football this spring it's been all NDSU players and the spring game. UND needs to make noise to prove to the state especially the region there are TWO DI teams in this state.
UNDColorado
FWIW I think Tom Miller at the GF Herald has been stepping up his coverage. That is nice to see.

Stop using logic on this board.....why televise and make an event out of spring football for a team who has sucked for 5 years.

It's Faison's fault there is no local media broadcasting the game. He needs to force them to do it or else!

WDAY only covers UND football during the 3 hours when the UND football game is being played.
CMSioux
I don't recall anyone asking for the scrimmage to be broadcast - but a press release 3 days before the event doesn't reflect much excitement or energy. Again - that might be by design since the Memorial Stadium hasn't been used for a public event in more than decade. There are going to be potential recruits attending this scrimmage so why wouldn't we want them to see a little fan support? There is a happy medium between what they did and what others are doing. Csonked Out
Honestly, I care more about what happens on the field as opposed to who sees it. Hopefully some of you that live in Grand Forks can let us know who impressed. I am curious to see if Studsrud can complete the intermediate and deep throws and how the online and rbs look. jdub27
Iverson has been playing some TE to go along with FB They are trying to find ways to move Fiedler around outside of just the TE spot to create mismatches The WR group has been the group that has made the most strides and surprised the coaches the most despite the injuries they've had. Cerriteno, who had quite a few drops last year, got some new prescription contacts and it has made a world of difference for him, catching almost everything now. To no one's surprise, the OL is still up in the air and the QB battle is far from decided.

Would be a nice change and we may have the athletes to do it.

We all should hope the offensive line and running backs have improved running the ball (which fortunately I think they have) or else the offense will be atrocious once again. UND-FB-FAN
Push comes to shove who would you start? Right now, Bartels. But Studsrud, Mollberg, and even Heidlebaugh deserve the opportunity in the fall with a full compliment of WRs to try and prove themselves.
