Big A HG
I couldn't find my original Wallpaper thread from a couple years ago, but I added a Media page to sioux-jersey.com which will feature wallpapers for your computer/phone and any other neat stuff I decide to put together. There's only a few on there now, but feel free to check it out and let me know what you think. There will be more new stuff as time goes on, so keep checking back. http://sioux-jersey.com/#/media/4570708394

MattC
Speaking of wallpapers, I threw this one together a couple of weeks ago for my iPhone 5. Full size is here: http://www.smugmug.com/photos/i-hr54sXb/0/X3/i-hr54sXb-X3.jpg

Big A HG
I re-did an old iPhone 4 wallpaper to fit the iPhone 5. I don't own an iPhone, but I know a lot of people picked one up. Since I don't have one, I can't really test it out. I tried to place the artwork in places where it doesn't interfere with the time portion of the top of the screen and the lock slider portion of the bottom. Anyone care to test it out for me? I have it available on the Media page right now, but can tweak it to work better. http://sioux-jersey.com/#/media/4570708394

Big A HG
Thanks MissSioux, that helped a lot. I tweaked the original a bit to fit even better, so feel free to use the updated version which is already on the site. I also added an Android and iPhone 4 version. Since there are so many variations of Android phones, it may not work on all, but most of you should be able to get it to work just fine. Let me know if any of you have any issues. I'll continue to add more phone wallpapers if there aren't any issues.

Goon
They definitely need to be better than around .500 before Christmas in this new era of parity, but Hakstol's system of building is hopefully going to prevent UND from peaking at the wrong time. I had this discussion with my buddy at the hunting shack this past weekend. I believe that the coaching staff has a complex defensive system that takes time to jell. Whatever they’re doing seems to click as the season evolves. Thoughts on that? I am just throwing it against the wall to see if it sticks. Also, SCSU is a very good hockey team. zonadub
I've pretty much hit this one last week in a blog post as well. Goon, your blog was pre Christmas vs post Christmas. AZ Sioux is running Friday vs Saturday also. The numbers tend to show that Hakstol's teams are at about .700 on Fridays (before & after Christmas) and under .500 on Saturdays before Christmas They are over .750 on Saturdays after Christmas. Nice work AZ Sioux

I am just throwing it against the wall to see if it sticks. Also, SCSU is a very good hockey team. That's definitely been the pattern the last few years, the team seems to tread water before Christmas and hits its stride after the break, and for the most part that's not terrible because you want your team getting better every week and peaking toward the end, but that said I don't want to get into a situation like last year where every single game the last 5 weeks became a "must win" to get into the top 12 of PWR, that was a lot of pressure on everybody involved. We need to beat teams we should beat, especially at home, there's no reason not to sweep a team like Duluth who's struggling at the Ralph, on any day of the week. Snake
I'm curious how one defines the "peak" of a season when a team doesn't win the championship? Is it the last win of a mid-season streak? I actually prefer to think that in seasons where we didn't win the National Championship we never actually peaked. It's easier to define "peak" that way.
