Hedquist had a good game.  Never looks 100% comfortable, but did his job.

Western better than UND.  They aren't great by any means, but they are better than what we have.

I watched the reply of that penalty, seemed like a pretty iffy interference call. Could have gone either way, guess it went against us.

They have 5 games left against Denver and Western. Those are the pairwise movers. Need to win 2-3 to make it to the bubble depending on what they do against the other remaining opponents to have a chance. I don’t see it.

Did some good things but not nearly consistent enough. The blind turnovers into danger areas are absolutely maddening.

i remember Bump having the big senior year and state tournament and being mad we weren’t after him and trying to flip. Then when the Vermont thing happened and he entered portal and we didn’t make any effort because we were “full”. Sometimes in college athletics an opportunity presents itself where you need to make a tough decision and make room for a guy like Bump. I said the same thing when Slukynsky became available but Berry didn’t pursue. When Slukynsky, a potential 3-4 year starter is available from your backyard and instead of jumping on the good fortune you say nah we already got a guy who was really average at Arizona State you have to question if there is some kind of brain injury.

It’s like the hockey team is trying to outdo the women’s basketball team for a mythical turnover crown!  How many times did they back pass giving Western outnumbered situations going the other way.

Exactly!  Even if you think it was iffy, you don’t give a ref a chance to even it up.  Refs don’t like to decide the game, so Kunz made it easy for them.

Except Kunz's teammate had the puck and he ran obvious pick on the defender. It's okay to admit the UND player made a stupid decision. Not everything has to be a conspiracy.
