Speaking of Luepke, a Bison fan told me to expect a big dose of Cole Payton tomorrow.  He said the talk in Bison world is that he is their best runner, and they believe they have purposely held back on his touches until the meat of the conference schedule, keeping their backup QB healthy.  I think if we limit big plays in their run game from Miller and Payton, we'll be fine.

I would be all for them running Payton as much as possible

The guy who has a career average of 7.5 ypc? Has struggled this year outside of one big run so maybe you're onto something

You take Payton.  I will take Miller.  Let's see who runs the better offense

I don’t see NDSU taking their best playmaker off of the field. I think his touches have been limited by how well Cam is throwing and running the football

Bo has almost 50% of all the receiving yards.  I'd be shocked if NDSU doesn't put a safety over the top to try to take him away.

Two on Bo.
Seven or eight in the box.
Sounds like a chance for Dennis to finally show off his speed, instead of taking crushing blows across the middle.

He's ready, willing and able.

Exactly. My thoughts earlier in the week were another WR needs to make big plays this week. NDSU is well coached, we run the ball and we throw to Bo, that is what they will focus on. Not that Bo won't get 4-5 receptions yet anyway though. Bo will still be Bo.

Bo needs 10+ targets no matter what the defense sends at him.

Depends on the defense.  Issac has this.  We don't what bison will throw at us.  Issac will adjust to win.  When the players excecute we win.

Fruechte has been very good adjusting to.... and taking advantage of what the defense is giving us. Hopefully he will be on from the start and it won't take a quarter or so to adjust.

Late $$ coming in on UND...now +12.5.

Opened at +13.5 then up to +14.5.

From a true betting odds standpoint +14.5 was a no brainer if you had any faith in this team.

I've seen this team play all 5 games. They seem to operate differently than the past couple years in all 3 phases...in a good way. Still the eyeball test through 5 games sees some real deficiencies in certain areas. At home I think this is very winnable. On the road in that environment I'm going 34-21 NDSU.  I hope I'm wrong.
