   Gotta say that I moved away from a philosophy of letting a game play out before reacting, but never would have believed this was a winnable game at halftime, but just goes to show you that momentum can become a huge wave that shifts confidence and makes things like today possible.  
   I’m not sold on being one dimensional and it translating through the whole season, but if you can dominate the line of scrimmage like we did in the second half, it could open up other things when they have to load the box to stop you.  After all, that is how the Bison have dominated for years.  
  Keep up the confidence on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Hey now ... I'm mad he left too, but Joe gave us what we have. Not just an improved O line, but an improved O line even after 3 players took big transfer opportunities. He absolutely left his mark on UND, and if we couldn't keep him, then shame on us. Hope we can take the momentum and run with it in a key group.

Romfo had a tough game at times, but that play was special. No other QB on the roster makes that play.

Agreed. Hoping he can take a few steps in the passing game. Jerry may be a better passer (no idea) but I can't imagine he makes the same plays with his legs (and that isn't a slight on Jerry). If Simon can start making some plays with his arms (maybe on some rollouts) we could become multidimensional. Really liking our O line and running game.

I'll take a decent game against Iowa St and a win against MT. Keep winning at home and head into Fargo playing the right way.

Great adjustments by the coaching staff.  Just a tale of two halves with the staff getting the team settled in at half.

Agree. Kudos to the student section. Was packed at kickoff and a good majority (80-85%) of them stayed for the 2nd half after watching a dumpster fire first half.

First half...midway through the 2nd quarter the Griz had almost 250 yards of offense.

Second half...midway through the 4th quarter the Griz had run 9 plays on offense.

Not sure how good Montana’s oline is but we man handled them in the second half. It was nice to see our defense get some pressure for a change.

As much credit as our kids deserve this guy deserves the heat he's going to get in Missoula.  47-17 were the plays in the second half.  UND tightened things up defensively, but that can't be the play discrepancy unless you are playing Alabama.

He even said that UND lacks QB depth.  Well the one you were watching wasn't throwing it great, why wouldn't you throw a slew of humanity in the box to make us throw more?

Like Kelly said, the defense deserves a lot of credit. Awful start (besides that first defensive drive), but man did they ever settle in. Montana had 17 total snaps in the 2nd half, 8 of those on the final drive. Some might say because of time of possession, but they had three 3 & outs in a row, so that gave the offense more possession than they probably should have.

The long drives in second half and Griz 3and outs gassed griz defense.
