This would make a lot of sense (see below).  And given that gambling in gf is apparently dominated by like three groups, there shouldn't be ANY complaints about it.

Playmaker’s All American Lounge is a “boutique casino” where players try their luck at blackjack and games of chance. The lounge features, and pays tribute to, the All Americans from the University of North Dakota. Playmaker’s All American Lounge is the official pre and post game gathering site for UND Athletics. Meet friends at Playmaker’s All American Lounge and relax with drinks and snacks as you watch the big game.

This one would be the obvious choice. Would even work better if people knew when it was open.
The LISTEN Center is currently in there. The state gaming website has reports that show the quarterly numbers (with the most recent being December, 2020) but it lists all sites of each organization together. If anyone does look through it, note that it only shows adjusted gross proceeds and zero expenses are taking out, its just the handle less prizes.

Blue line club donates to other organizations then just hockey

They do, but feel free to look through their donation history on their tax returns and tell me where the overwhelming majority of their funds go.

I would hope you are kidding. His home phone should be off limits for work related issues. It isn’t difficult to make an appointment to see him. It isn’t difficult to email him. I would hope we all have enough class to leave these guys and their families alone at home or if they are with their families/friends at church or restaurant.

Agreed, home phone absolutely off limits, but making an appointment isn’t as easy as you suggest, either.

Underwhelming UND athletic programs, failed leadership.

Nobody responded to the last three emails, but they did their half assed master plan announcement 15 days after the last email I sent. https://fightinghawks.com/news/2022/9/30/general-north-dakota-athletics-releases-master-facilities-plan.aspx

I have had similar experience(s). Half-assed apathetic program, with a disjointed “relationship” between REA-UND, as former President Kennedy pointed out during his tenure.

UND athletic department leadership is subpar. AD Chaves has been an underwhelming, disappointing hire. Why should anything or anyone commit their funds to such a poorly-led department, if not other than just purely for pride? Horrible strategy. Model is collapsing.

Back to the original topic... How would everyone feel if UND only wins 2 more games which includes one & done in the tournament? From talking to a lot of people close to hand.. my gut tells me they give him a 1 or 2 year extension. I say this because what I've heard consistently all year.

I would think that it is a disappoint of a season given the talent of the freshman that were brought in and other players around them. I've said this all year and I'll continue to stand by it, but UND had the talent this year to be a middle of the pack team in the Summit. Unfortunately, it appears as though the coaching philosophies/decisions made by the staff have held the team back. At some point we need to expect better than 2 conference wins in a year.

agreed...there is enough talent to win games in conference....but we aren't which is telling

Next year's recruits don't seem to move the needle much iirc.  The two Century kids...anybody else?

Had a chance to watch Century vs Minot last night

Dissette - only true d1 athlete on the floor. Will make an impact at this level just with his length, athleticism, and hustle. If he develops a jumpshot can be a good player in the Summit League

Doppler - came away a little more optimistic than I was before the game. Crafty scorer, plays at a good pace offensively. Like a lot of Sather recruits, I’m not sure if he’s athletic enough for this level

Erickson - underwhelming would be putting it lightly. Complete project in my opinion. A lot to work on before he’s ready to play d1 basketball

If Sather is let go, I’m curious to see what happens with our 3 commits.

Watched this as well.

Dissette was best athlete on the floor and Doppler was the best basketball player on the floor last night.

Doppler did have a couple big breakaway dunks vs Legacy that showed some athleticism.

I won't pass any judgement on any recruit until we actually can see what they can do on the college court.

Plenty of people that came in highly reguarded has busted here

Plenty of people that came in under the radar have bloomed.

Unless HoopsFan03 approves of them, I won't approve of any of them

Looking at Hockey, Football, Men's and Women's basketball and volleyball can you think of a worse overall time for Sioux sports?  Only Women's basketball is on the upswing and they spent years floundering and are not yet close to a conference championship.  The overall state of our athletics is not good.

some else on campus might disagree with your assessment of the volleyball team!!
