Agreed, home phone absolutely off limits, but making an appointment isn’t as easy as you suggest, either.

I have had similar experience(s). Half-assed apathetic program, with a disjointed “relationship” between REA-UND, as former President Kennedy pointed out during his tenure. 
 

UND athletic department leadership is subpar. AD Chaves has been an underwhelming, disappointing hire. Why should anything or anyone commit their funds to such a poorly-led department, if not other than just purely for pride? Horrible strategy. Model is collapsing.

Back to the original topic... How would everyone feel if UND only wins 2 more games which includes one & done in the tournament? From talking to a lot of people close to hand.. my gut tells me they give him a 1 or 2 year extension. I say this because what I've heard consistently all year.

agreed...there is enough talent to win games in conference....but we aren't which is telling

Had a chance to watch Century vs Minot last night 

Dissette - only true d1 athlete on the floor. Will make an impact at this level just with his length, athleticism, and hustle. If he develops a jumpshot can be a good player in the Summit League 

Doppler - came away a little more optimistic than I was before the game. Crafty scorer, plays at a good pace offensively. Like a lot of Sather recruits, I’m not sure if he’s athletic enough for this level 

Erickson - underwhelming would be putting it lightly. Complete project in my opinion. A lot to work on before he’s ready to play d1 basketball

Watched this as well.

Dissette was best athlete on the floor and Doppler was the best basketball player on the floor last night.

Doppler did have a couple big breakaway dunks vs Legacy that showed some athleticism.

I won't pass any judgement on any recruit until we actually can see what they can do on the college court.

Plenty of people that came in highly reguarded has busted here

Looking at Hockey, Football, Men's and Women's basketball and volleyball can you think of a worse overall time for Sioux sports?  Only Women's basketball is on the upswing and they spent years floundering and are not yet close to a conference championship.  The overall state of our athletics is not good.

2018/19.

• Football: 6-5 (lost @ NAU to finish the year that cost them a playoff spot)
• Hockey: 18-17-2 (Missed NCAA Tournament, Lost first round on in the NCHC playoffs @ Denver)
• Men's Basketball: 12-18 (6-10 in Conference, Lost R1 of Summit League Tourney)
• Women's Basketball: 12-19 (6-10 in Conference, Lost R2 of Summit League Tourney)
• Volleyball: 14-18

I would say that's on par with the current state. Chaves was leading the ship during that disaster of a year as well. I cannot agree more, the overall state of the athletics program is not good at all.

Wonder if any of that is correlated with significant budget cuts across the whole University, including athletics (which was more than just a few teams being cut)?
