They truly are great fans. Was at a game when Erstad was their punter, the year they were National Champs

Long time Husker fan going back to I.M. Hipp. Been to 4 games in Lincoln over the years. Will have to try and make it for UND's return trip as I am running a National Softball Tournament that weekend in Fargo.

I got an email from Val S.
they plan on having an event on Friday night

The alumni department is having trouble with finding a tailgate spot. They have been contacted by UND fans that have secured a tailgate spot that would welcome other UND fans. They are trying to figure out how to communicate that as far as where the tailgate spots are.

Should be hearing from them in a week or so

We bought tickets for section 18 since 19 and 20 were sold out. Will UND fans on here be in section 18, 19 or 20? We are hoping to be at least somewhat close to other UND Fans.

Previously posted on this thread, here is whhere the vising sections in Memorial Stadium are.  So you will be near some green in secton 18.

Who wins a game between Nebraska and Arizona?

asking for a bison friend

Huskers if in Lincoln, hands down. Albeit the 2021 version of Nebraska football could lose if game in Tucson, it’s doubtful because Arizona was awful in 2021. The 2022 Huskers team is going to be better than 2021 version, which lost many close games to good teams. Must win year for Frost plus the assistant coaches and talent via transfer portal they brought in is going to elevate them.

Perhaps, but nothing even close to the Fargo bizon brethren

Thinking they’re still a big name national power without having been to a bowl game since 2016 and a major bowl game in over 20 years is pretty delusional. At least bizun fans have a leg to stand on.

Nebraska 1995 team probably best team in college football history. Lincoln’s Memorial Stadium is one of the most fabulous places to watch college football in the entire country. Nebraska has had several top 25 ranked teams over just the past decade. For what it’s worth, bizon owe their DI success to a former Husker in Craig Bohl. Also you won’t meet a nicer, more polite fan base than Nebraska Husker fans. Comparatively, ndsu bizon fans are absolutely petty and pathetically embarrassing when it comes to discussing UND football (case in point, see simple Dan’s post above). I’m absolutely confident that NDSU has far more delusional psych ward-destined groupies than Nebraska ever will.

Agreed. After all, the Bizzzzon have won the Division one 132nd place trophy something like 23 times in the last 17 years.

Or, some similar number of times.

10. North Dakota (Sept. 3)

The Fighting Hawks may be a FCS team on NU’s schedule, but the Huskers will be making a quick turnaround from the trip to Ireland, likely battling fatigue and fogginess in the week before the game.

North Dakota’s penchant for relentlessly blitzing the opposing quarterback will be a challenge for a Nebraska offense still finding its footing, too.

UND not being completely overlooked. Given Nebraska plays in Ireland the week prior, UND will have an opportunity to do some good things if Bubba does his job and has the guys prepared.
