I shouldn't have said all, because yeah guys that would have been seniors in Fall of 2020/Spring 2021......yeah they won't have eligibility after Fall of 2021. I guess I was thinking that it was implied that he was talking about guys other than guys like Holm, Canady, etc.. who would have been seniors last year. Those guys are listed as "5th" for their class, so I wasn't talking about any of those guys.

Hinders - Do we have another long snapper waiting? Peterson - Do we have another punter ready to take over? Waletzko - Barring something strange, I would assume he will enter the draft. Ghadaksaz - I would think he was a 1 year filler and will be gone. Seguin - Thoughts? Krzanowski - Does he really still have another year? If so, that's awesome. Larson - I would hope he stays for another year. Fenelon - Gone Boltmann - Does he really still have another year? If so, that's awesome. Morrison - Thoughts? I think you've got it hit on the head pretty well. Since so many of our 5th years are on defense, I hope that Seguin, Larson (hope he brings his brother along), Krzanowski, and Morrison all stay so we don't have to go through as many growing pains on that side of the ball. Also not sure who's in line for those special teams positions, so keeping those guys around (especially Peterson) would be nice. Offensively, I feel like we would be ok without Maag or Boltman, but having the depth would be nice. Either way, I don't see either of those two as a make/break player for the 2022 season. I think the coaches did an incredible job this past year navigating the Covid year situation. The group that was hit harder than most was the RS Junior class that was able to graduate, that were not impact players. Because of that, UND has a relatively small Senior class. 11 Deep, I would break them into. Gone Waletzko (Draft) Ghadaksaz (Going over his career, I think he's out of eligibility. That being said, they classified him as a Senior) Fenelon (Depth) Specialists Hinders - Hopefully come back if there's no replacement (1 Scholarship Position) Peterson - Hopefully come back if there's no replacement (1 Scholarship Position) Other 6 Hope they all come back. I would say that the defensive four are all high priority, "need" to come back type guys. Maag / Boltmann are at a position with some depth, but still, when healthy difference makers. Getting starters and impact guys to use that extra year is so crucial.

If they are saying late round, could he possibly decide to comeback to improve himself further and possibly his draft spot the following year? If it sounds like he is a lock to get drafted, would be hard for him to not leave and get the money while you can. Never know when you could get injured. Everything I've heard is late round, but I suppose it really comes down to Matt as a personal decision. -Do you really think your stock will jump by staying an extra year? You also risk having a bad year and slipping out of the draft altogether. -Do you risk injury to potentially move up a bit in the draft? I would assume he will go through the draft process and see where he lands, even if it ends up be UDFA. Once you hit the late rounds, its more about getting in and getting the opportunity. He would never be slotted in as automatic anywhere anyway. Get him into a camp and let him show what he has. Have to strike while the iron is hot. He’s slotted in the draft, round 5-6, don’t risk injury. great to see und have this kind of talent on team finally. Need more of it, quite frankly

Popular Post Kassonvike
King Mo. Sorry, not a regular here, but a UND grad who just noticed a local kid committed to UND. Kasson is up 35-0 on Fridley in the quarterfinals. I will probably be taking the kids to US Bank on Thursday for semis.
