At least in the bouncy ball tournament there is a day off between rounds. Now you have team that gets the benefit of moving on and then play a team that has to play the day before. They should of had a team in covid quarantine on standby like they did in the NCAA basketball tournament. No reason a Providence or Lowell couldn't have gotten to the East Regional in a day. You could of even had an east replacement team and a west replacement team for just in case. The puck isn't orange and doesn't bounce high enough for the NCAA to care.
