He was directly involved in the IRS scandal during the previous administration. From a regular Joe looking at it, it's not surprising that a Democrat-appointed guy doesn't want to be investigating. 5

I guess we'll see if drew to an inside(r) straight, or gets the flush. I highly doubt what he does or doesn't know has any bearing on the messages he's sending out. Reality isn't always in line with the messages. Which is also something the Pelosi is trying to deal with within her party. The fracturing by their lack of gains through down-party voting is going to cause some issues on how they move forward. You can look up Trump’s challenges. They are of public record. Compare them to his rhetoric. It’s not rocket science to understand his legal team’s game-plan is ‘throw everything at the wall and see what sticks’. Nowhere are they presenting concrete evidence of fraud. It’s all perimiter type stuff. Their suit in PA essentially alleges that mail-in voting is unreliable. The suit claims that GOP observers weren’t present during the counting process; this despite Trump’s campaign admitting before a federal judge last week that they were present during the counting process. Their argument in AZ was that ballots marked with sharpie pens should be invalidated (the suit was tossed). And their most recent challenge in Michigan resembles amateur hour. His lawyers can’t even follow basic appellate court filing directions (see below). Trump has a shrewd way of claiming victory when he loses. That was his MoO in the business world. He’s a great PR guy. He understands that challenging the results, regardless of outcome, will delegitimize Biden’s victory in the eyes of his supporters, give him an excuse for losing, and a reason to not engage in the transition process (which will hurt Biden). 1
UNDlaw80 Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 Looks like the Trump rhetoric is even too much for Fox News. 3
Oxbow6 Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 Minneapolis is looking at bringing in police officers from other jurisdictions as the city faces an officer shortage and an increased wave in violent crimes. It's a metro area that will ultimately get was it deserves. It will be the Midwest version of Portland in 12 months. 3

NO ONE(in power in MPLS) saw this coming!

TheFlop Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 Yet another mass test at UND today. Gonna flesh out every last asymptomatic case regardless of how long it takes. See you there Oxbow, maybe we can grab lunch after. https://und.edu/covid-19/testing.html 3
AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 If everyone with student loans gets 50k in relief, there needs to be something for everyone else. Rewarding bad fiscal decisions is absurd. 4

The Biden administration if it gains control of the senate will be pushed to make inner city do nothing non-contributing individuals on par with Fortune 500 CEOs. #whywork

I wouldn't be surprised if UND sees a drop in enrolled students for spring semester. The mostly online education is a waste of time and dollars then factor in zero college experience.

The day before we got married her dad joked at the rehearsal dinner that he was happy his daughter found someone to take on her student loans. Just finished paying them off last year....we've been married 10 years. 2
SiouxForever Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 Rumors ND winter sports could be cancelled. Can't make this !@#$ up. That would be totally azz backwards. Kids are not getting Covid during games being played. Yes cases are going up, big deal, let's not let fear shut things down moving forward. Goodness! Final true decision will be made Thursday evidently. 1 1
