Within very limited resoning, ND maybe.
I don't think we quit tracing?

Admittedly I might be the wrong person to ask about that.  If you were contact tracing ebola good Lord would I be all on board with it.  With Covid I've taken the attitude (and I am far from alone) that there is a good chance that any given person that I run into during the course of the day has it and could be contagious.  I don't believe in imposing all sorts of complicated restrictions on asymptomatic healthy people.  By this time the public has been educated, large gatherings have been stopped for the time being, whether the person in line with me at Hugo's has been contact traced or not has no bearing on how I am proceeding these days.

If someone feels safer at home, I support that decision....and frankly they should be glad that the healthy are letting it run through them out in society because it's becoming clearer and clearer that some level of herd immunity is the only way the US will get back to normal.

Not in ND, but I agree personal responsibility has to take over at some point.

I wasn't clear with my large gathering statement (my bad).  I meant it in terms of there are no large events at Alerus/Fargodome/Civic Center....Grand Forks races were restricted in attendance...no large college sporting events minus the Bison scrimmage against UCA, schools have spaced kids out/cut attendance at extra curriculars (even though those same students pile into parties on weekend).

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas on Sunday exposed how mass voter fraud takes place in Minneapolis, helping Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar defeat her opponents.

The bombshell video was done with the aid of insider Omar Jamal, who revealed mass voter fraud and shared with Project Veritas investigators details of the sophisticated planning that goes behind the pay-for-vote scheme.

This was already shared on here. There's no meaningful evidence in the clip; it's just hate porn for the same morons who want to believe she married her brother because the thought of Muslims getting elected blinds them with rage.

Speaking of which, everyone saying Barrett's religious beliefs should not be scrutinized better say the same thing when Dems nominate a Muslim for SCOTUS.

If this Covid could play out this way over the winter, could be a good senario. A lot of other potential paths out there.
There's probably something more going on for the country not letting it rip, besides the election?
Medical scienticfic field isn't yet sold on letting go.
Maybe midwest proves to the country how to get over this?

Former Bush official shreds Trump in endorsement of Joe Biden for president

Tom Ridge, who was a cabinet secretary under former Republican president George W. Bush, endorsed the Democratic nominee on Sunday.

“I will cast my vote for Joe Biden on Nov. 3. It will be my first vote for a Democratic candidate for president of the United States,” Ridge, a former governor of Pennsylvania, wrote in an op-ed in the Philadelphia Inquirer. "But it is not the first time I have said ‘no’ to Donald Trump. I urge my fellow Pennsylvanians to join me.

“[Trump] lacks the empathy, integrity, intellect and maturity to lead,” Ridge continued. “He sows division along political, racial and religious lines. And he routinely dismisses the opinions of experts who know far more about the subject at hand than he does.”

Really?

Is this something you dreamed up in your pea brained mind, cultist?

Or, did it come from some right wing nut kob, like the soon to be late Rush Limbaugh?

The election has definitely played a role in how it has been covered.  I'm also generally supportive of medical professionals on an individual level but once those professionals become part of a larger group I am not blind to the potential conflicts of interest and politics that can come into play.  The medical professionals that I've spoken to on a local level in ND (no, I haven't talked to Oxbow, but others) have all been pretty consistent in indicating that it's not something to take for granted, but as long as hospital capacity isn't an issue (which it isn't) it isn't something that should freak even moderately healthy people out either.

AOC mocks Trump for writing off $70K in hair styling on taxes — after she was ridiculed for $250 haircut
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is mocking President Trump over reports that he sought to deduct from his taxes $70,000 in hair-styling expenses, noting that his supporters raged at her for spending $250 on a birthday hair-do.
“Where’s the criticism of their idol spending $70k on hairstyling?” AOC tweeted. “Oh, it’s nowhere because they’re spineless, misogynistic hypocrites? Got it.”
Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) also slammed Trump for revelations that he paid no more than $750 a year to Uncle Sam in a bombshell New York Times report on his taxes.

I think $70K for a hair stylist is absurd but if you've seen the dude's apartment, I mean...yeah whatever floats his boat. Donald Trump is a pop culture icon for his extravagant lifestyle. He's mentioned in songs, had a board game and a TV show because of who he is. His entire "brand" is built on displays of opulent wealth,  while enjoying many things that are blue collar Americana (McDonald's, diet coke, WWE, sports).

A bartender becoming a congresswoman and immediately becoming a "sell-out" is a unique criticism (right or wrong). I believe a lot of the criticism related to her conduct is tied to her change in behavior and attitudes towards some of the finer things in life upon getting to congress.

She went from being a champion of the poor and what not, to living in a pretty trendy and expensive part of DC, started wearing expensive clothes, spending as much on one haircut as I will spend in 3 years of Manhattan haircuts during school (yes I'm aware women's haircuts are more expensive). Instead of her owning the fact that she had moved to a nice, new, upscale part of DC for convenience or safety or something, she indicated at the time that her luxury apartment should be the new standard for basic housing for Americans.

In short, the criticism of her will be tied to her sudden approval of the finer things in life as soon as she had the income to do so.

I'd look at it in a sorta similar way to the criticism of Bernie Sanders. Dude owns three homes. People will rag on you for being a grifter when you don't practice what you preach or you change your standards of what sort of wealth/income/behavior is acceptable to conveniently exclude yourself from that criticism.

TL;DR version: its not about the amount spent on hair lol, its about the individual's message and how their behavior complies with it.

Donald is a hypocrite on many things, but him spending some ridiculous amount on his ridiculous hair is perfectly aligned with him and his brand (for better or for worse).

So, to summarize for the cultists:

The US Attorney in New York has been investigating Trump for overinflating the value of his properties to attain large loans.

In turn, he seems to have undervalued many of the same properties to show a loss to avoid personal income taxes.

You cant have it both ways.  That is called fraud.

In 2022 he has to pay 460 million+ in loans or he will face foreclosure on many of those properties.

Btw, most of if not all of it is to Deutches Bank, one of the only banks who would lend Trump that money.  Why?  Trump has a !@#$ credit rating.  Oh, also btw, Deutches bank is being investigated for laundering over 90 billion dollars for Russian plutocrats. Coincidence?

So, winning this election may force those creditors to hold off for a few more years. Or, change the terms of the loan.

Do you want a president in a compromised position?   I should say, do you want to continue having a president in a compromised position?

Ridin' with Biden...
