I'm not confusing anything. Wealthy people rarely pay personal income tax. They own real estate which they are depreciating, they own business assets which they are depreciating. They pay millions upon millions in taxes, but not personal income tax. Capital gains tax, payroll tax, property tax, corporate income tax etc.

You are the one who doesn't understand and it shows.

I know that, bizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzon.

But, the question is, did he manipulate the value of properties to get loans and avoid taxes at the same time?

Overvalued for the loans.  Undervalue to avoid taxes.

Great and if he did anything illegal he will be punished accordingly. What's the issue?

I thought the question always was that his tax returns would show ties to Russia.

AOC mocks Trump for writing off $70K in hair styling on taxes — after she was ridiculed for $250 haircut
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is mocking President Trump over reports that he sought to deduct from his taxes $70,000 in hair-styling expenses, noting that his supporters raged at her for spending $250 on a birthday hair-do.
“Where’s the criticism of their idol spending $70k on hairstyling?” AOC tweeted. “Oh, it’s nowhere because they’re spineless, misogynistic hypocrites? Got it.”
Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) also slammed Trump for revelations that he paid no more than $750 a year to Uncle Sam in a bombshell New York Times report on his taxes.

No, if he is not showing ownership, nor declaring any income or expenses from it. You actually think T doesn't lie, say on his tax returns??????

I'll never understand how people who don't have 1% of the information will be so quick to draw conclusions when there are people who get paid to do these things and have 100% of the pertinent information(IRS) and they haven't charged him. Do you think it's possible the IRS is better at deciding his guilt or innocence?

Here is one for you.

https://www.psychiatrictimes.com/view/cult-trump-leading-cult-expert-explains-how-president-uses-mind-control

All cults have something in common. They strip away freedom of thought and realign ideas with those of the leader. The author discusses his original way of conceptualizing cults, called the BITE model-the acronym for controlled Behavior, Information, Thought, and Emotion. Even more revelatory was his discussion of how hypnotic techniques such as repetition, subliminal messages, programming amnesia, and even guided meditation can be so effective in swaying followers.

read what you wrote again, and see if that applies more to the left or the right...idiot

Donald Trump Is Destroying the CDC

Inch by inch, since the start of the pandemic, the White House has sought to sabotage the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for the political benefit of President Donald Trump. To an alarming extent, it has succeeded. Once globally recognized as “the best science-based, data-driven agency in the world,” in the words of its current director, the CDC is now in danger of losing the public’s trust entirely

Do you think that Trump, or any other high net worth business owner for that matter, does their own taxes?  If you take any individual who is very wealthy and owns multiple businesses, you'll be able to find issues which are questionable (or open to debate) on their taxes.  There is a ton of gray area in the tax code.

I guarantee that he has his accountants do all the work and tells them to do what they can to minimize has net tax obligation.  It's no different than any other person I know, or  folks filing taxes with a W-2 who qualifies for the earned income credit.  If the tax benefit is there people are going to take it.

The headline in the weekend Fool'em was a bit disingenuous. The headline would lead the casual observer to believe Covid has filled up area hospitals. Read two paragraphs in and root cause is all the elective surgeries that were delayed for four to six months that are now happening.

Let's roll some ND DOH facts:

Non-ICU beds occupied due to Covid: 5.3%
ICU beds occupied due to Covid: 6.62%

So is it time to let it rip?

Within reason, yes.  Keep certain limitations like no 10,000 person concerts, keep some social distancing efforts, etc, but by and large if people have learned anything yet it should be that this thing is going to go through the population.  All that March - July/Aug did was delay the inevitable.

Ask around, it's becoming easier and easier to find people that know they had it, describe it as a cold maybe even as a flu, but they stayed at home and didn't seek treatment/testing.  I would love to see antibody test numbers......I think it's ripped through alot already.
