TNF Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Let me start by saying I hope Saville is okay and I do believe it should have been a goalie interference call (even though I don’t think it was fully intentional). But the sales jobs tonight especially when it was their own defensemen’s stick was just a great example of Omaha’s good sportsmanship and commitment to playing the right way. “The trainer is sure getting a workout early...”. And the only goal horn all night was after the handshake line when the Mavs did the Traditional Cirle of Jerks/Sticks for their fans. Quote

Also followed up by saying their coach refused to come to the fan luncheon in GF. Maybe because they were serving Corona with Lymes at the luncheon? I'll show myself to the door... Quote
siouxfan512 Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Nice bounce back by the Sioux. As far as I’m concerned Thome has earned the spot going forward which is not something I would have predicted earlier in the season. Scheel is really good, but Thome is the man right now! Scheel needs to stay ready. hopefully Kawaguchi is back soon and continues his work towards the Hobey. much more to come for this team! Quote

Popular Post ChrisUND1 Posted March 8, 2020 Popular Post Posted March 8, 2020 Hey Gabinet, show us the replays where UND plays dirty. Then, comment on the replays of your own team chirping, taking liberties after the whistle, and pulling wrestling moves on UND guys! What a freaking whiner! 5 Quote
Irish Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Great win - when we put the puck in the net we are very hard to beat. Let's ride Thome all the way. Quote

If I recall things correctly, it was a rough game for that goalie. First he gets high sticked through his helmet by his own teammate. Then later another teammate plows a UND player into him, causing his head to hit the pipe. If anyone wanted to skip handshakes it should've been the goalie with his own teammates. 1 Quote
UNDColorado Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 I hate Omaha. Bunch of crybaby pussies. Also, if you want a good laugh go read through the Twitter feeds of mav puck and recovering ops from last night. 1 Quote
Cratter Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Gabs is quickly becoming the most hated NCHC coach by UND fans. Might have ourselves a new Gwoz. 1 Quote

Comical that first he said how they played 3 games against us and had 3 guys with concussions but then a moment later he said how they had played 4 games and had 4 concussions. It’s absolutely embarrassing that his team would play the way it did over the weekend (non stop headlocks and third guy in on every post whistle skirmish). If they watch video and don’t see how silly they look then it’s no surprise that they can’t get anything out of video sessions to improve their play either. Chumps. 1 Quote

Washburn Sioux Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Omaha wants to be a major rival of ours, if they can't do it by talent they will try do it by whining. Quote

Popular Post Wilbur Posted March 8, 2020 Author Popular Post Posted March 8, 2020 Omaha is the 7th most penalized team in the country. UND sits as the 37th most penalized team in the country. But in no way could I see that watching one team lose its composure time and again last night...... 8 Quote
ajries18 Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Only 3 teams average more penalties per game than Omaha. Only 6 teams average more penalty minutes per game than Omaha. Enough said. 4 Quote

yzerman19 Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 I think a little pressure from the league for Omaha to consider a coaching change could do wonders to help their program.... Quote
