This kid has wheels

Yeah I had assumed safety at first, but after watching his highlights he reminded me of how we're using Boltmann this year.

If he gets a crease.....he is gone.  Looks a little like Boltmann and they use him somewhat like Boltmann too....putting him in the Wildcat.

This is how we win back the state. Get local kids from small towns across the state and win with them.

Jack Ihry is a ball player. You may have to go to the Fargo Forum Facebook page and find the article there to read it if you have exceeded your free articles. A couple Bellquist highlights as well in the video.

Awesome to see. This is the backbone of successful UND football teams; that is, top North Dakota high school student-athletes.

Ihry from FSHP and Belquist from NRS will both be great additions to the UND football program. Kudos to Bubba and staff for finding these guys.

Keep recruiting small town ND!!

When you consider that Montana has just over 1 million people and yet have so many players between Montana and Montana State (too lazy to go back in the previous posts, but didn’t someone count the numbers and it totals over 100 players between the 2 teams?) These are mostly small town players who are recruited and developed in state. ND and SD have not quite as many people, but there are many of these small town kids who are D-I caliber. NDSU finds them. SDSU finds them. UND is starting to find them... now the onus is on Bubba and crew to develop the ones they are able to recruit so that more of them are willing to join the Hawks like it was when Roger Thomas and Dale Lennon turned the program around. It can be done!

He’s a good player. His height will probably keep them from dropping any money on him though.

He's THE type of speed guy UND could use right now.

That can't be good

Still lists himself as a UND commit. Some are proud to receive the offer and choose to publicize it, even if they have no intention of accepting.

With the year Minnesota is having it's more concerning than it would be if they were still a doormat for the BIG.

Yep, more of a concern with the year Minnesota is having this year......might be more tempting for him than it normally would have been.

Yea, but at the same time we had faith in the kid before anyone. I think it’s a positive and shows we’re after the right guy.
