If you have some high-end talent, they'd pick that pressure apart and find open guys (who can bury the puck too) all day long. Lack of skill combined with lack of scoring ability creates big problems. 2

SiouxFan100 Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Hey, gotta give our men and coaches some credit. Let’s bring it home. 1

Stating the obvious but the 3rd period, I believe, is huge. I am not optimistic but I sure hope UND proves me wrong (they have a lot of times over the years when I've been Nancy negative lthough the past season and a half maybe not so true).

They UMD homers are expecting power plays for the dogs in the third period. I guess they must have lobbied the NCHC supervisor in the press box or something.
SIOUXELEVENS Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 If it’s not working, the power play, then cgsngr something, take over Berry. That’s what a head coach does.
OgieOgilthorpe Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Und has 3 lines of 4th liners and 1 line of 2nd liners. And the 2nd liners are hurt and sick
06 Sioux Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Hand modeling... Something this dude does worse that calling a game.
Wilbur Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 In its simplest form....do not allow Todd Anderson to get involved. No lazy sticks, bad changes, temper tantrums. Duluth knows the marbles are getting heavy. If there is a team that plays well with that in their favor its Duluth. 3
tnt Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 So do they go into the typical lock down defense, and let Duluth take it to them? Recipe for disaster if they do, because it will draw penalties, to say nothing of Duluth having the puck in our zone the whole period.
Oxbow6 Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Gonna be lots of chip and chase by UND from here on out
Wilbur Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 A great 4 minute segment for UND to start the period. 1
WiSioux Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Fundraiser plug: UND alum's family is having a benefit tomorrow in Fargo at Shotgun Sally's 11-2p to raise money for cancer treatment. Silent auction includes items such as autographed UND hockey jersey, autographed Toews Blackhawks jersey, autographed Carson Wentz helmet, and autographed NDSU football. 2
Wilbur Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Another good segment. 5 on 5, do your job. Nothing lazy. 1
