geaux_sioux Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Can't get one yard. One wr on the field. 9 in the box. Pound it. Quote
Sioux04 Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Is it just me, or do we run every time Studs turns to the backfield? Seems very easy to read, unless he does some play action after those checks. Quote

Feff Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 UND doesn't have the offensive line to play the way they want on offense against decent teams. Showed against Utah, showing against USD, hell even Missouri St gave the line trouble. The offensive line simply is too soft for this type of offense. 2 Quote
Cratter Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Not good when back to back 4th downs can't get one yard. Quote
UNDColorado Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 We should not be in the top 25 after this. Woof. Quote

geaux_sioux Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Even if we average 500 yards/gm after his on offense I'm fine with Rudolph being gone. New qb after this season. No reason to retain him. He's had plenty of time and the excuse of the WRs not being any good doesn't exist anymore. 4 Quote

Yes this, we couldn't pound it against Missouri to start the game and they are supposedly the worst team in the MVFC? We had to throw to open up the run against them, that should have been a sign. We don't have the OL to compete against good defenses. 1 Quote

It took Roger Thomas way longer than 4 years to build enough depth to be conference title and playoff contenders. Another couple of recruiting classes should help fill those voids. USD Coach Nielsen in his second year at the helm. I'm real concerned about what he'll be doing in his third and fourth season at USD. 1 Quote
