Their easy schedule finally caught up with them...they beat a solid Penn St team but struggled against Iowa on the road and really got steamrolled by Bucky in the second half today. Unfortunately for the winner, they get Ohio St next week and the Buckeyes look unstoppable at this point. Quote
Shawn-O Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 The Utah-Oklahoma debate is going to be a lively one, should things hold form. Quote
SiouxScore Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 So it seems like a pretty easy year for the playoff committee but if anyone could screw it up it would be these guys based on some of their rankings the past few weeks. Only real intrigue today seems to be is Ohio State #1 or is LSU? Pretty big decision too because I would much rather play Oklahoma than Clemson. Quote

I don't think there is much debate, Its LSU with a bullet at #1. 1 Quote

Ohio State has 5 wins over current top 25 teams. 2 vs #8, and 1 each vs #10, #14, and #20. LSU has 4 wins 1 each over #4, #9, #11, and #12. I think I'd still have Ohio State #1 just based on what I've watched all year. Quote

Ohio State v. Clemson should be a fun time in the Semifinal. LSU will probably stomp Oklahoma. Quote
nodakvindy Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Clemson defends and I'll be surprised if anyone stays within 2 TDs, LSU included. 1 Quote

You know what's funny about Clemson? All these people talk about how they haven't beaten anybody, their conference is soft, they barely beat North Carolina, blah, blah, blah! But when it comes time to talk playoff seeding, nobody wants to play Clemson in the semifinals! Which is it, boys and girls? It cannot be both! Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 I’ve really grown to watching the Army/Navy game as I have gotten older. Quote
Siouxperkick Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 A couple upsets that I foresee happening this FBS bowl season: 1) #17 Memphis over #10 Penn State 24-21 2) #3 Clemson over #2 Ohio State 34-30 3) #24 Virginia over #9 Florida 27-17 4) Kansas State over #23 Navy 30-23 5) #18 Minnesota over #12 Auburn 23-21 Quote
cberkas Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 Oklahoma looking like Sooner Schooner when it rolled. 49-14 LSU at the half. Quote
Feff Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 As an OU fan this is embarrassing and I wouldn't be surprised if OU is left out of any of the playoffs in future years. Pulling a UND and not bothering to show up to the game. Quote

Nobody has been able to solve their offense this year. And I don't know if Clemson or Ohio State will be able to either. Quote
Shawn-O Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Ohio State up 10-0 and getting the football back, 6:00 to go 1st quarter. Unfamiliar territory for Clemson, let’s see what they are made of. Quote

Shawn-O Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Amazing football game, a heavyweight brawl. Clemson remains the champion until proven otherwise. The 16 day break couldn’t come at a better time after that. I wouldn’t bet against Clemson. 1 Quote

SWSiouxMN Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 I think Clemson can hang in there with LSU, if Lawrence can match Burrow (which he is more than capable of doing) Quote
SiouxScore Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Heck of a win for the Gophers over Auburn of the mighty SEC. Most impressive thing was how well the Gophers played in the trenches, especially the OL down a starter in Faalele against 2 likely 1st round picks. 1 Quote
SiouxScore Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 That Rose Bowl setting is just so awesome. Game has been pretty back and forth with plenty of swings as well. Should be a good finish. Quote
SiouxScore Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Things have gotten a little feisty between Oregon and Wisconsin in this 4th quarter. Quote
