A bit of a leap in logic to suggest that this Task Force will be directly involved in the selection. As annoying as this verbiage is, the fact that there are so many words preceding "adoption" and "selection" in the two clauses definitely indicates that nobody is yet willing to commit to anything. Then probably determine how a name will be selected. Will they take suggestions from alumni, fans, etc? Will they narrow it down to a final 10, 4, 2?? Will there be a city wide vote to narrow down the list for Kelley to decide? There is much more to the process than just deciding on a new name. And that is what this committee is being asked to do. They came up with a logo that is clear and distinct, timeless, and not gimmicky.
