Idk who negotiates but we took $50k LESS then what Iowa paid hcu this year

seems weird we are taking less money and probably bringing more fans and it’s another years worth of inflation

What are you talking about?

UND is getting $50k more than Albany got from Iowa ($500k).

HCU played Nebraska and got $50k less than UND is getting in 2027.

Are we better off following the more recent Bison strategy of Cupcake Non-Conference scheduling?

Bison last beat an FBS team, Iowa, in 2016.  Since then lost to Arizona in 2022 and Colorado in 2024, and will get butts kicked in 2028 at Oregon.  This doesn't seem to fit the narrative of FBS schools shaking in their boots.

Replace K. State with a home softy and we are 3-1 heading into conference.

In 2023 replace Boise St. with a home softy and we are 8-4 and in the playoffs.

Down side is the program probably needs the pay-days.

I think the Non-Conference schedule that last 2 years has been about right.

FBS Money game-We need the Money

Cup Cake-Easy Win

Perennial power-Good Test and Fan Interest

Lower Tier Big Sky Team-Easy Win that looks like as Good Win.

We are either good enough for the payoffs or not.

Just win baby….

love it @geaux_sioux

This ain’t bubba ball anymore … JYDs just get the job done. Still some growing pains early on but give it time

Are schools looking to schedule 12-game seasons to get them an extra chance to pad a playoff resume with wins?  Or why 12?  Seems like unnecessary chance for injury, especially if you're anticipating multiple playoff games.

That’s an easy answer … money. Slam dunk you want 12 games especially if it’s an extra home game.

Why does he wear clothes 3 sizes too big for him? Has anyone informed him that it’s a horrible look?

And he looks to be a physically fit guy with nothing bad to hide

UND adds 12th and final game to the schedule. Long Island University home and home ..

Was hoping for a bigger name but this will do. Long Island University did beat Eastern Michigan (FBS) last season and is an up and comer …

Addition of home and home with Long Island University

Would be a fun trip.  Went to Stony Brook a number of years ago for the game.  Was a good excuse to see NYC and have a weekend getaway on top of the game.

Are there ways to get out there from NYC without renting a car?  Not familiar with that area at all

Looks like you can take the train and get fairly close and then taxi.  We took the Long Island RR to Stony Brook which is about an hour farther away from NYC.  Went from Penn Station and had one train change along the way but was pretty easy.

I was looking at this, too, yesterday.  The closest train station is Greenvale, which is on the Long Island Railroad (https://www.mta.info/agency/long-island-rail-road), but that's still 3 miles from the football stadium.  So you could walk that 3 miles if that's your thing, or probably get a cab/Uber/Lyft.  The Long Island RR is interconnected to the rest of the NYC subway system at Jamaica.  An added bonus is that the US Open Tennis Tournament would be taking place at the same time of year.
