Play calling is very poor. Need a coaching change there.

Definitely looked to bounce off the turf on replay. But whatever, again we lost the game. So many chances that we failed on. 

Have to look back to that very dumb series of the 1st and goal from the 2. 

That missed FG looks large too as it could've been a 3 point game, forcing a chance to tie with a FG instead of forcing having to get a TD. I say 3 to tie as I would think NDSU would've went for XP instead of 2pt on last TD.

Same ol same ol.  Und is good enough to compete. Not good enough to win the big games.    4 losses with 5 losses possible if they lose to sdsu.  Not sure about playoffs?  Two ok wins is their resume.   Will that be good enough to garner playoffs ? 

I’ve been wanting to say for a while about the offensive play calling this year.  It’s horrible.  A lot of head scratching calls in nearly every game.  That includes game clock management.   Not good    
 

UND is not one of the top teams this year.  Always close but close doesn’t cut it.   Doesn’t matter who they have lost to or how close they have come to being undefeated ……they currently have 4 losses.  Not a top 25 team imo. Top 25 teams  frequently win close games.   
 

Also.  Jerry has been horrendous in the final minutes of these close games.  The play calling is one thing during the majority of the game but he has been disastrous in the potential game winning drives.  
 

well hopefully next year we can win some big games and take it the next level.  See if Schmidt can rally the troops in year two 

Special teams have been and still are a nightmare. 

 

lastly.  The D has been incredible this year.  Light years better than any bubba led teams.    Refreshing and fun.

I am so tired of this ineptitude that prevails when the offense really needs to step up.  Really? 0 for 4 in one score late game losses! Defense was fantastic. Offensive coaching and Jerry not so much. Crap!

Honestly this loss is on the Offense. The defense and special teams did as much as they could do, but when it's 1st and goal at the 5-yard line or less and you don't run it and instead run what was up to 7 pass plays instead you deserve to lose unfortunately. 

I don't know if we kept the OC from Bubba's era or it's grand new, but they need to figure it out next year or go hire someone who can make sensible calls at the right time.

Freuchte should apologize to the team.  Yes, NDSU grabbed the jersey for interference for us to go up 14-3, but you run the ball at least a couple times.

Not true. I watched it many times. He turned his body toward the sideline, how can it go forward if the player who received it was behind him? The rule states that the ball cannot move toward the goalpost. It in fact did not.

On the whole, this went better than I was expecting.  I am encouraged by the defense.  It can take us a long way.  0/4 on potential game-winning drives on the season hurts though.  I am hoping that is just Jerry's youth, and next year we get those.

You know nothing if you dont think this is a top 25 team. Please names the 25 teams ghat arw better. Just flat out stupid statement.  But I get it, we are all pissed right now.
