But can we get better when the HC endorses what has happened this year by not making any changes. Pretty disappointed in Schmidt - Isaac is gonna Isaac all day long. he learned nothing during the season and seems incapable of making adjustments. The games we piss away next year are on Schmidt.

I'm glad they didn't quit. Last three possessions were all TDs. I was scared Lanning was going to run it up to 40 plus spread zone when it was at 48-13.
ND-fan Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 It still comes down to Valley and Big Sky in national championship game. Then you look at Big Sky Montana State mirrors a Valley team what do expect with Vigen coming from NDSU and Boll coaching tree. The National Championship game should be very competitive both teams are physical on lines of the ball and both have talented skill players. The one area that Illinois State has one advantage is at quarterback I believe but MS has to be feeling the third time has to be charm. I still think it will come to turnovers and who runs ball better. I would have preferred if Montana would have been there it would have been a fun with new teams in the championship. 1

Of course we can get better, we must. I’m not sure I have read or heard that Schmidt has “endorsed” anything. I have no idea what Isaac will do, nor what he learned, nor what he will learn between now and next year if he is here. All results are the ultimate responsibility of the HC.

wheelsup Posted December 31, 2025 Posted December 31, 2025 Very interesting article.. with some analysis on what it actually takes to go fbs..
The Sicatoka Posted December 31, 2025 Posted December 31, 2025 $15M cover to get in the door then $17M annual budget increase (>50% increase) to get to spending level of lowest MWC member. 1

This type of asinine athletics spending from the second-tier college in North Dakota would be beyond ridiculous. Fargo is so full of themselves, however, they don’t even realize it … UND needs to continue to be proactive, though, because Fargo is so arrogant they could make things happen, even if it is this crazy. 1
Kab Posted January 1 Posted January 1 If they go fbs not one damn dime should come from state coffers or increase in student fees. let their team makers suffer a little in their bank accounts

wheelsup Posted January 1 Posted January 1 $0 from student fees should go towards athletics. You have kids taking out 10s of thousands of $$ for student loans to go to these schools. For the ones that want to.. should have the opportunity to buy athletics tickets and intramural/facility fees for a reasonable amount.. just like a meal plan. alumni / champions club should cover it. 4

A METRO (as they liked to be called ) should have enough donors and wealthy football players to cover this i have heard they want to go after oil money as dose everyone else

shep Posted January 17 Posted January 17 A friend who has been a bison fan for years said that all the other coaching staff members who left over the years did not cause him the concern he has with the news of Kramer's departure.

School and program are an illusion and a disgrace … should be asterisks by most if not all of their FCS championships 1
