SpudsSioux Posted Monday at 02:22 AM Posted Monday at 02:22 AM I can’t imagine he isn’t at least being considered. Obviously has had success early as a head coach maybe more important, was the recruiter under Motzko at both SCSU and the U and brought him some incredible players. 2 Quote

The Sicatoka Posted Monday at 02:30 AM Posted Monday at 02:30 AM A Sunday release sure does sniff that Chaves has wheels in motion. Color me stunned. 2 Quote

I think a missed opportunity was not going after Gwoz hard after CC let Owens go. That ship has sailed though. Gwoz is happy making $250k a year and being home on time for dinner every night coaching at Valor Christian High in Denver. 1 Quote
SiouxScore Posted Monday at 02:32 AM Posted Monday at 02:32 AM How about Ben Barr? Believe he is from Fairbault. Think he played at RPI. Really revived Maine. Quote

UND1983 Posted Monday at 02:41 AM Posted Monday at 02:41 AM Any old timers confirm that Gino wasn't fired, he "retired"? Quote
sioux24/7 Posted Monday at 02:41 AM Posted Monday at 02:41 AM So what’s the deal with Todd Knott? Offered the Mankato job and didn’t take it. Does he not want to be a HC, just good with his role? Would be a great candidate it seems. Or another assistant in Wisconsin in Nick Oliver? Was USHL coach of the year in Fargo. 1 Quote
AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted Monday at 02:43 AM Posted Monday at 02:43 AM The dog caught the car. Now we have to place faith in an Athletic Director that we aren't fond of to find the right replacement. Personally I'm torn on alum or not; best man regardless is a good approach, but GF isn't for everyone (and wasn't for me). Don't want to be a stepping stone, but don't want to be incestuous either. 2 Quote

With the portal opening in < than 7 days, it would be crucial to have a new HC by then. If not, Jackson would be in charge of that, & I don't think many high-end transfers would commit to an interim coach. 1 1 Quote

He’s building a program and creating a legacy that he’s already started to leave his mark on. He has a new building and enough money to do some damage (yeah yeah I know it’s not the money we have). I’d love it if we got him and I’d love to be wrong. I just don’t think it’s going to happen. 2 Quote
