Definitely a soft noncon schedule. The NCHC is the best league and arguably the most physical league in college hockey. Are we willing to allow a cream puff or two to allow the boys a weekend without all the pressure, have some fun, try new things, pad the odd stat, heal up a bit? Of course a loss to a puff can be devastating.

So glad Verhoeff chose UND. The precedence has now been set, but I can’t help but wonder if Verhoeff comes if Reschney doesn’t?

I have lower bowl tickets and sell them when I can’t go. Not once did I sell them for less than $60. So am I missing something about the price of these tickets?

Thanks for posting this. I suspect some of the players might have enjoyed a lap around the rink in front of the lunatics, but they chose to keep it classy. Good for them. Seems consistent with the how the seniors appeared on this weeks TTD. Neat group of leaders.

Is it typical that it’s presented in the locker room? Seems to me there has been a presentation on the ice in the past? Is that just if you win it at home? Man that rink cleared out fast. Was that a lunatic snub thinking the Pene Rosa might be presented on the ice?

The Verhoeff hit occurs with 7:28 left in the 3rd. Bibby skates to the corner, stops, looks over his shoulder, sees Verhoeff, feels contact and jumps into the boards. Verhoeff immediately puts his hand up like “Are you kidding me?” Announcers comments BEYOND rediculous. Implying same hit as Strathman received. And “Even worse” ?? Guys, he was closer to the boards which is better. I’m pleasantly surprised the stripes got it right. Maybe they’re on to the Duluth diving team.
