I don’t always challenge an uncalled major penalty, but when I do I get an opponent’s goal taken off the board and score 3 unanswered goals.

Solid 3rd period and got the needed result but absolutely unacceptable first 2 periods. Slow to pucks, sloppy in every facet, and just didn’t look engaged.

Wilkie was named the game's #1 star, but Ryan Ladouceur should get honorable mention.   What a time to call for a challenge!  And kudos to whichever coach on the bench listened to him.

Great to see Jamernik with a goal and assist too.

Now, 20 hours to review the film and make changes ....

Mankato scored to go up 3-0, but Ryan saw a contact to the head penalty that went uncalled during the game.
Refs reviewed it and called it a major, which took away the goal as well...keeping it 2-0.
UND scored 2 goals on the major PP.
