If Hobie starts Friday and we have restructured our lines, I think we get at least a split. Something tell me we are coming out of clown town with 4 points. Not sure why I'm feeling optimistic but it's there for now. Also hinges on the health of Strathmann because him being in the lineup makes a legitimate difference on the back end.

If TJ starts Friday and our lines are practically the same, then that will prove this coaching staff has learned nothing and is trying to expect different results by trying the same things. In that case, we come away with 1 of 6 points

Hasn't SCSU lost 8 straight??

Yeah they are in a major slump. One of these teams is going to get out of a slump this weekend and obviously I hope it's us. Or maybe we tie both games and each game goes to a 15-round shootout which will feel like continued slumps for everyone

Which game did we differ on?  I have them 4-8 to finish.

1-1 at SCSU
1-1 CC
0-2 at DU
1-1 UMD
0-2 at WMU
1-1 UNO

i can see a split with st clown...at best.  after that, i dont see a win.  both UMD and UNO are playing way better than UND

Their goalie was carrying the team until he mangled his foot while dropping an upper decker. Only reason I think we split rather than sweep is we are undisciplined combined with piss poor on the PK, and Clown is always good on the PP at home.

Curious to see what the crowd blend is, does our fanbase in the cities pass on it with how we've played this year?

I think the second night against Western really took it's toll on optimism, but this is too far gone the other way.  If you are willing to bet, I sure would put $1000 down on UND winning more than 1 game the rest of the way.

The second night against WMU was the worst hockey I have seen in several years. But you are right, I don't think we'll lose that many games.

For any of you contrary types, 2 tix available over in the ticket forum for Sat night. Your team needs you!! 😁

And if the rest of y'all could quit scaring off potential buyers, I'd appreciate it 🧐😁

What about the bye week...fresh bodies, fresh outlook?  They'll come out great on Friday night, right?

Sadly, we've seen this song and dance before.
Hopefully the big ice gives Perron and James some room to fly.  I don't think any result would surprise me, aside from a UND sweep.

I still think there is time for another closed door meeting or two before it's all said and done.  Lose Friday, maybe win in OT on Saturday after another heart to heart.

To be sure, this weekend could be a tipping point that we haven’t had to deal with at UND, because if they get swept, Berry could very well lose the team and the repercussions in that scenario could be horrible. Keeping a team together under those circumstances would be admirable, but wouldn’t absolve anyone from the responsibility of getting in that situation to begin with.

Can’t imagine too many from the Cities make the trip to Clown Town after the exhibition Sioux put on Saturday against Western.
